¡Hola, gente de internet! Espero que estén bien. Hoy quiero volver a la onda Hallyu (ola sur-coreana), esta vez hablando de mi segundo grupo preferido de Kpop, se trata de VAV. Hablaremos del grupo, sus integrantes y mis canciones preferidas, quien quita si al final consigo que les guste su música jeje. Sin más, comencemos el viaje hacia la buena música.
Hello, people of the internet! I hope you are well. Today I want to go back to the Hallyu wave (South Korean wave), this time talking about my second favorite Kpop band, VAV. We will talk about the band, its members and my favorite songs, who knows if in the end I will get you like their music hehe. Without further ado, let's start the journey to good music.
Who are VAV?
VAV son las siglas de Very Awesome Voice ("Voz Muy Asombrosa" por su traducción al español) su fandom se llama Vampz que significa (Vampirezas) y se eligió entre otros nombres, haciendo alusión a la temática del debut del grupo.
VAV stands for Very Awesome Voice. Their fandom is called Vampz which means (Vampires) and was chosen among other names alluding to the theme of the band's debut.
Son pertenecientes a la compañía de entretenimiento sur-coreana A team Entretaiment, y Debutaron el 31 de octubre del año 2015. Los miembros actuales no son los originales, ya que tres abandonaron el grupo por cuestiones personales. Actualmente son 7.
They belong to the South Korean entertainment company A team Entertainment and debuted on October 31, 2015. The current members aren't the original ones, since three left the band due to personal issues. They are currently 7.
- St. Van (Líder/leader)
Siendo el líder del grupo (y como suele verse en el kpop) es quien adopta el rol de «padre» de todos. Es quien está al pendiente de que todos hagan las cosas correctamente, no solo en el ámbito laboral, sino también en su vida diaria. Es amable y muy educado, entre sus curiosidades está que habla chino perfectamente, tanto que los demás bromean diciendo que en realidad es un chino que habla coreano muy bien.
Being the leader of the band (and as is often seen in kpop), he's the one who takes on the role of "father" to everyone. He's the one who makes sure that everyone does things correctly, not only at work, but also in his daily life. He is kind and very polite, among his curiosities is that he speaks Chinese perfectly, so much so that others joke that he is actually a Chinese who speaks Korean very well.
- BaRon
Es de carácter relajado y optimista. Le gusta verle lo bueno a todo, usualmente declarando que prefiere ver el vaso medio lleno. Prefiere las actividades espontáneas como pasear al aire libre sin importar el tiempo que haga.
He has a relaxed and optimistic character. He likes to see the good in everything, usually stating that he prefers to see the glass half full. He prefers spontaneous activities such as walking outdoors regardless of the weather.
- Ace
Ace es educado y de personalidad tranquila. Sabe tocar la guitarra y habla inglés bastante fluido.
Ace is polite and has a calm personality. He can play the guitar and speaks English quite fluently.
- Ayno
Es catautor, rapero y bailarín. Es el responsable junto con Lou de escribir los rap de las canciones del grupo. Es el «Visual» de VAV, es decir, el más guapo de entre todos los miembros. Tiene una personalidad alegre y juguetona.
He's a songwriter, rapper and dancer. He's responsible along with Lou for writing the rap songs of the band. He is the "Visual" of VAV, that is to say, the most handsome of all the members. He has a cheerful and playful personality.
- Jacob
Es chino, sabe hablar coreano e inglés muy bien, además es modelo, tiene una excelente condición física, pese a comer muchísimo y a simple vista parece ser muy serio, aunque no es así en lo absoluto.
He's Chinese, can speak Korean and English very well, is a model, he's in excellent physical condition despite eating a lot, and at first glance appears to be very serious, although this is not the case at all.
- Lou
Habla inglés perfectamente porque de niño hasta adolescente vivió en Estados Unidos. Es cantautor, rapero y bailarín. Su mayor talento es la actuación. Es muy sonriente y bastante sociable.
He speaks perfect English because since his childhood until he was a teenager, he lived in the United States. He is a singer-songwriter, rapper and dancer. His greatest talent is acting. He's very smiling and quite sociable.
- Ziu
A parte de cantante, es modelo. Es el Maknae, es decir, el menor de la agrupación. Tiene de pasatiempo ejercitarse y hacer algunos escritos.
Besides being a singer, he is also a model. He's the Maknae, that is to say, the youngest of the band. His hobbies are exercising and doing some writing.

Favorite Songs
Aunque tengo muchas canciones preferidas, creo que pondré las siguientes tres, por considerarlas (en mi opinión) las mejores que he odio del grupo (como soy nueva Vampz, aún hay canciones que no he oído).
Although I have many favorite songs, I think I'll put the following three as I consider them (in my opinion) the best I've heard from the band (as I'm new being a Vampz, there are still songs I haven't heard).
- Señorita
Fue la primera canción que escuché del grupo y fue amor a primera vista. Tomando de referencia a los pioneros en la incursión de ritmos latinos en fusión con Kpop (Super Junior) VAV trajo Señorita, una canción de ritmos entremezclados entre kpop y ritmos latinos. Una canción que habla de la pasión de los integrantes por una «señorita latina». El video expresa en su fotografía y colores la alusión a latinoamérica. La coreografía y las interpretaciones son totalmente impecables.
It was the first song I heard from the group and it was love at first sight. Taking reference to the pioneers in the incursion of Latin rhythms in fusion with Kpop (Super Junior) VAV brought Señorita, a song of intermingled rhythms between Kpop and Latin rhythms. A song that speaks of the passion of the members for a "Latin Miss". The video expresses in its photography and colors the allusion to Latin America. The choreography and the performance are totally impeccable.
- Thrilla Killa
La canción es algo sexy o picara, aunque el video nada tiene que ver con la canción. En él nuestros chicos son espías. La interpretación vocal es genial como siempre, el video tiene muchos efectos visuales (como es común en el kpop) y la coreografía es supremamente genial.
The song is kind of sexy or naughty, although the video has nothing to do with the song. In it our boys are spies. The vocal performance is great as always, the video has a lot of visual effects (as is common in kpop) and the choreography is supremely cool.
- Giveme More
Una nueva incursión a la fusión del kpop y ritmos latinos, esta vez con una colaboración con De La Ghetto & Play-N-Skillz. En esta ocasión los chicos amplían sus interpretaciones en español, como Ayno y Lou por ejemplo, quienes hacen su rap totalmente en español y aunque su pronunciación no es perfecta, se entiende bastante bien y se oyen muy adorables. La coreografía una vez más es sumamente genial, es una de las cosas en las que más me fijo por ser bailarina.
A new incursion into the fusion of kpop and Latin rhythms, this time with a collaboration with De La Ghetto & Play-N-Skillz. This time the guys expand their interpretations in Spanish as Ayno and Lou for example do their rap entirely in Spanish and although their pronunciation is not perfect, it is quite understandable and they sound very adorable. The choreography once again is extremely cool, it's one of the things I look out for the most being a dancer.
Bueno gente, esto ha sido todo por el post de hoy, espero que les haya gustado. Como siempre digo, lo que expongo en mis post (sobre todo en cuanto a música) son mis gustos personales, y me aboco más que todo al kpop porque aún con el alcance que ha ido teniendo la onda Hallyu en latinoamérica, siento que se sigue menospreciando el talento asiático, simplemente por ser asiático, sin darle la oportunidad a ver a los cantantes, oírlos y analizar sus canciones. Siendo así, muchas fans de estos grupos tan asombrosos, nos avocamos a mostrar el talento de nuestros Idols para que cada vez más personas reconozcan su esfuerzo.
