My Actifit Report Card and Snow Day: January 7 2022

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to 2022. We started the new year with relatively warm weather. That only lasted 3 days. We are now back to typical January chill. Yesterday, we had our first snow day of the year.

We had quite a bit of snow overnight and in the early morning. I took the opportunity to take a few photographs. Some from the front door, some from back window, some from the yard, spme from an upstairs front window, and some from the path behind the house. My sister took two photographs from the upstairs back window. Later in the day, I went for a walk looking for some good snow scenes to photograph. At this point, much of the snow had been cleared or melted. Below are some of the photographs I took.

When I woke up today, the snow had melted away. The weather is a little warm for it to settle for very long (still, a little warm for January). The rain helped melt it quicker. I doubt that will be the last of this winter's snow.

My Content

My focus for the first week of January was my New Year posts. I wrote 2 posts. One post about moving house in 2021 and the other about my Hive content from 2021 and my expected plans for 2022. 2021 was a strange year. It was mostly stressful but most of the time, things worked out well. I believe a good indication of how the year went is to look at where we started and where we ended it. Are we better off or worse off because of the events of the year. Personally, I feel I am better off in most areas. Therefore, I consider 2021 to be a good year.

I am optimistic about 2022. I feel it will be a less chaotic year. I am settled in my new home. Covid-19 has run it's course. However, I am little concerned about what comes next. The Great Reset is the likely next big push. I'm not sure what will be done to attempt to convince people it is necessary but it will not be pleasant. We can just wait and see as well as be prepared for it.

That wraps up my first Actifit Report and Update for 2022. I wish everyone an exciting and active new year.
