Happy Sunday 🎉😁 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's been another wonderful day, the beginning of a new week as we continue pushing through October. As always here's a quick breakdown of how my day went including some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for stopping by and let's get going 💨.
Just like yesterday, I kicked off early with the fast paced morning session. The weather was perfect with a fresh cool breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood.
I was back indoors around ten o'clock, I then rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 as politicians attend church yapping away afterwards.
Celebrations as Kenyans won Paris, Amsterdam and Capetown marathons 🙌👏.
Globally, trending story was the kidnapping of 17 US missionaries in Haiti😱. Elsewhere, fighting escalated in Yemen, the battle being for the strategic marib region that's rich in oil and gas. Still in the middle east, Palestinians complained of indiscriminate attacks by Israeli settlers as they harvested their olives😬.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin broke down further and is now at 59k. The outlook still quite bullish 🐂 even as the bears 🐻 try to move in 😹.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some veggies then passed by the park 🌲 before reaching home.
Back indoors, some interesting soccer ⚽ matches were going on but I had to get my usual nap 💤. So I dreamed off until early evening when I got up feeling quite refreshed 😜 and energetic 💪.
I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Another trending story was the Russian film 🎥 crew that landed back to earth after 12 days at a space station shooting a movie👏. The first of its kind to be filmed in space.
Meanwhile, in the Kerala southern part of India, flooding experienced as part of the bizarre global warming weather patterns. Over in the UK,two best friends who grow coral and the country of Costa Rica are among the winners of the first ever Earthshot Prizes that was hosted by Prince William.Earthshot awards aim to reward people trying to save the planet, each winner receiving £1million 👏.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As usual,slow paced trying to wind down and relax. I finally made it back home 🏡 safe and sound calling it a day 🙌☺️.
