Walk by the river

Anyone who has read yesterday's post knows today's plan for us. It was an ideal plan, sunbathing on the beach and swimming during the whole morning until lunch! Who wouldn't love that! But the clouds and the wind did not want our plan to come true. The huge waves at sea, neither. Eh, so we spent the morning at home, I went my son to the store, I practised the piano, and as always, later in the afternoon we went for a walk. This time, to the river.

From the cover image, you can see that the sky was grey and cloudy. It was like that all day, but still, it was hot. Not a good combination. However, the wind that blew along the shores of the sea and the river softened the feeling.

Near that river, there is a ranch, called Rancho Paraiso. Over the fence, we can see that it is a nice place to spend some days or being there for the weekend. Through the fence, we saw a banana tree. The fruits are still green, the same as on the tree we saw yesterday in another place. There was a flower on this one, at least I think it's a flower.

Not far away from it, a big cactus with yellow flowers is growing. Sometimes the flowers are nicer, open. Today, in lack of sun, they were closed. Not posing for us.

An unavoidable point in our walk when we are close to the river is the place where goats live. They were already guests here on Hive, but these little ones are new, I haven't seen them so far. Cute baby goats!! The last time we walked here was before summer, before we left. We haven’t been here since we returned to Spain, but today has been an ideal day for that. No beach, no sun, so walking by the river was the best option.

P.S. Tenth day of posting in a row. Hooray.
