It was forecast for 100% rain today but miraculously, it did not happen! I got a few things done before we headed out for an afternoon hike.
There was lots of eye candy on the trail!
It was strange weather as well for it was a bit breezy, but you would literally walk through warm pockets of air and then step into a cold pocket. Very strange. Upon entering Slumbering Bear trail, you would have thought we stepped into a high power wind tunnel! It was crazy and a bit surreal as you wondered which tree was going to take you out! Then once we finished that trail and emerged, the wind disappeared! Craziness!
I found this guy while taking a shot of a ‘shroom.
It was a good hike and a good day for it.
