This painting was inspired by a recent travel post from our Russian friend Yury Blinov (@yurche). In fact, the gracious model in the painting is Yury's lovely daughter. My thanks to both of them for allowing me the use of their photos for reference.

Dieses Gemälde wurde durch einen kürzlich veröffentlichten Reisebericht unseres russischen Freundes Yury Blinov (@yurche) inspiriert. Das anmutige Modell auf dem Gemälde ist übrigens Yurys reizende Tochter. Ich danke beiden dafür, dass sie mir die Verwendung ihrer Fotos als Referenz erlaubt haben.
