Today the artist mohanraj shares with us a beautiful painting representing a boat. “Sketch was simple outline of the boat. Made a simple sky without clouds with cobalt blue and Payne's grey… Then went on to finish water. The first layer I painted became too light, effect of switching papers.. I did last few paintings on another paper which keeps the colour rich and this handmade paper tends to absorb in a lot and it makes painting look duller…” this is the description of the creative process.
