Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?

Street Reflections Photography [ENG/ESP]

by @dimascastillo90

If you like street photography you shouldn’t miss this latest post by dimascastillo90. The photographer shares with us an interesting technique about reflections. “This country is very variable in the sense of weather, so it rains very suddenly and quite often, so it gives me the opportunity to create these perspectives with these reflections” the author told us. Don’t miss this beautiful selection of photos!

[ENG-ESP] Half Face / Media Cara

by @politeumico

Today politeumico shares with us some experiments with photography. “This is a result from a photograph and some fractals, then on photoshop I decided to make a middle cut and zoom it, trying different colors and textures, giving it sort of an oil-painting look. It was really fun to experiment with the color gamuts. I think each one gives a different feeling” the artist told us. In the post you can appreciate the first result and the next versions.

Shiny New Tarantula

by @sketch.and.jam

If you’re passionate about biology, you shouldn’t miss this nice post by sketch.and.jam. The author shares with us a selection of great photos representing a tarantula kokopelli. “Here is a shot of her new exoskeleton from above. She is looking very rosy and fuzzy. She is a Chilean rose hair tarantula. The recent molting shows her full color nicely…” this is how the description starts. Don’t miss this amazing post!

[ENG&RU] Tunnel of trees, Russia (september 2020)

by @oleftinka

Today oleftinka brings us to discover a unique natural place: a green tunnel. “Despite the fact that this tunnel has existed for a long time, many, including me, learned about it only last year thanks to social media. The road to the tunnel was hilly and winding, so there were beautiful views of the fields and trees in the distance” the author told us. The atmosphere is simply magical, don’t miss this amazing selection of photos!
