A normal country
Hello everyone dear Hivers and welcome back to my blog. As you know for the past week I have been in Kristiansand, Norway for my solo painting exhibition, and I am learning to appreciate the great civilization of the Norwegian people.
My post today is divided into two parts, the first part is devoted to a roundup of photographs of the city, the second part to yesterday's international Gay Pride event in Kristiansand.
The city of Kristiansand is located in the south of Norway and is washed by the North Sea with very indented coastline. with small islets full of vegetation, also has a lovely marina and commercial harbor.

The relatively young city center dates back to the 17th century and has many buildings with architecture typical of northern European countries.
The municipal library is one of the few modern-style buildings and is a pride of the city.
A few steps away we encounter the neo-Gothic style Lutheran cathedral with its characteristic pointed arches.
The city is very clean and quiet, which helps make it very surreal, so three days ago I made a painting of one of the most important streets.

Second part
Yesterday I attended Norway's Gay Pride that chose the city of Kristiansand as its venue. To my amazement I learned that the First Minister of Culture of Norway is 30 years old! She opened the event which was attended by many of the nation's singers, actors and celebrities.
A people and a government very sensitive to human rights, ethnic minorities and gender equality and would be a very good example for my country, Italy.
I hope my post was of interest to you, I send you a hug from Amsterdan, because I am returning to Italy.

Un Paese normale
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog. Come sapete da una settimana mi trovo a Kristiansand in Norvegia per la mia mostra personale di pittura, e sto imparando ad apprezzare la grande civiltà del popolo norvegese.
Il mio post di oggi è diviso in due parti, la prima parte è dedicata ad una carrellata di fotografie della città, la seconda parte alla manifestazione internazionale di ieri sul Gay Pride a Kristiansand.
La città di Kristiansand di trova al sud della Norvegia ed è bagnata dal mare del Nord con coste molte frastagliate. con piccoli isolotti ricchi di vegetazione, inoltre ha un delizioso porto turistico e commerciale.
Il centro della città relativamente giovane, risale al 17° secolo ed ha molti edifici dall'architettura tipica dei paesi del nord Europa. La biblioteca comunale è uno dei pochi edifici in stile moderno ed è un vanto della città.
Apochi passi incontriamo la cattedrale luterana in stile neogotico dai caratteristici archi a sesto acuto.
La città è pulitissima e silenziosa, il che contribuisce a renderla molto surreale, così tre giorni orsono ho realizzato un dipinto di una della strade più importanti.
Ieri ho assistito al Gay Pride della Norvegia che ha scelto come sede la città di Kristiansand. Con mio grande stupore ho saputo che la Prima Ministra della Cultura norvegese ha 30 anni! Ha inaugurato la manifestazione alla quale hanno partecipato molti cantanti, attori e personaggi famosi della nazione.
Un popolo ed un governo molto sensibile ai diritti umani, alle minoranze etniche e alla parità di genere e sarebbe da ottimo esempio per il mio paese, l'Italia.
Spero che il mio post sia stato di vostro interesse, vi mando un abbraccio da Amsterdan, perchè sto tornando in Italia.
