Today I am happy to share with everyone this interpretation that I have made of an excellent Cuban song, well known in South America, it is called "El Carretero" by Guillermo Portabales. More than two months ago, the charismatic and excellent artist, @mipiano, invited me to participate in the challenge ‘Spread The Vibes’, and with great pleasure, and after so long, I respond to her participation, because better late than never.

¡Saludos, comunidad de músicos! Hoy me alegra poder compartir con todos esta interpretación que he realizado de una excelente canción cubana, muy conocida en América del sur, se llama ‘El Carretero’ de Guillermo Portabales. Hace más de dos meses que la carismática y excelente artista, @mipiano, me invitó a participar en el reto ‘Spread The Vibes’, y con mucho gusto, y después de tanto tiempo, respondo a su participación, porque mejor tarde que nunca.
[ENG] The song I reply to was a performance by @ mipiano, where she plays classical music by the composer Vasilije Mokranjac. In her post she makes a comment that I liked: "I do feel some sadness in the synthetic string tune but even then, positive excitement is coming out from the whole thing."

[ESP] La canción a la que respondo fue una interpretación de @ mipiano, donde toca música clásica del compositor Vasilije Mokranjac. En su publicación ella hace un comentario que me gustó: “Siento algo de tristeza en la melodía de cuerda sintética, pero incluso entonces, surge una emoción positiva de todo el asunto”.

[ENG] Musically speaking, these two songs are made up of minor chords, which give a feeling of melancholy, but when played with so much energy, they convey dynamism, activity and conviction.
Based on that comment, I have found a song that gives me the same feeling. The lyrics of ‘El Carretero’ are the songs of a farm worker who tries tremendously to earn a living. It is about hope, but also about the exhaustion of so much forced labor, but honest.
[ESP] Musicalmente hablando, estas dos canciones se componen de acordes menores, que dan sensación de melancolía, pero al ser tocados con tanta energía, trasmiten dinamismo, actividad y convicción.
Basándome en ese comentario, he encontrado una canción que me produce la misma sensación. Las letras de ‘El Carretero’ son los cantos de un trabajador del campo que se esfuerza tremendamente para ganarse la vida. Se trata de la esperanza, pero también del cansancio de tanto trabajo forzoso, pero honrado.
[ENG] The idea of this challenge is to continue spreading good musical vibes, that's why I want to invite friends, good musicians, who are part of this community.
The brother @luisenriquecp who, since I've known him, I know he has the flow with Latin music. Also @david.dicotomia, one of the most creative persons I know.
