Fried fish fillet becomes "air fried" cheese fish fillet rice. 😅 Why a change of the menu?
Well it's because the fried fish fillet is crispy on one side and soggy on the other side. So I thought might as well mix it with the rice and the mushroom soup and "air fried" it with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. It turns out yummilicious.
Made this special coating with eggs, flour, corn flour, black pepper, mixed herbs, garlic powder and onion powder. If I deep fry the fish fillet, I bet it would be awesome. But because I am using air fryer so the bottom of the fish fillet stick together and sort of becoming a pizza 🤣.
So I mix the fish fillet and mushroom soup together with the rice in the air fryer. Add some mozzarella and cheddar cheese and turn it into a "air fried" cheese fish fillet rice.
I made today's mushroom soup from scratch. Yea. No instant mushroom soup. And I am happy with the result. First I sauté the onion, potato, carrots and Shimeji mushroom. Then add in milk and water. Keep stirring. Finally add in the balance fried fish coating into the soup. This made the soup thicken nicely. And this gives a nice texture to the mushroom soup.
