Thoughts On Love

Never change who you are just because you’re afraid of losing someone. If they really love you, they will accept you for who you are. Your imperfections won’t matter. And if they are worthy of your love, then they will not ask or expect you to change for them. You will not have to do anything but be yourself.

If there are conditions attached, then the love, the relationship is doom to fail. When you care about the other person’s desires, feelings and well-being more than you care about your own, then you know you have love for that person. Similarly, if someone cares about you more than they care about themselves, then, they must truly love you.

You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear. - Oscar Wilde

We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person. - W. Somerset Maugham
