Mouthwatering Masala Fish Curry.....!!

Fish curry is a common item in our daily diet. Specially we Bengalis love to eat fish items more than chicken or mutton. Basically it contains a lot of protein which is good for our health. So in today’s blog I'm gonna share a delicious fish curry....

So without further due lemme show the trick and techniques of making this item, before starting don’t forget to check the ingredients list.

Ingredients

• Fish
• Eggplant
• Onions
• Green chili
• Red chili
• Turmeric
• Cumin
• Coriander
• Ginger
• Garlic
• Tomato
• Cooking oil
• Salt

Marination

First you have to clean all the fish pieces with plain water. Try to cut equally and then pour 1 teaspoon of lemon water on fish, rest it for few minutes.

Here I'm using eggplants. For this try to cut this into cubic shape and rinse it with normal water. If you are not interested then feel free to skip it.

Now It’s time to marinate the fish pieces. Take a bowl with fish, add ginger garlic paste, cumin paste, red chili, turmeric, coriander, mashed tomato, onion paste, sliced onion, green chili, salt to taste and cooking oil.

Mixed all the ingredients well with a spatula. Actually try to use your hand for mixing it’s work like magic and enhances the taste. After mixing well lid the bowl and keep it rest for at least half an hour.

Cooking Process

Take a stirring pan and put some oil into it. Then add here sliced onion. Put the flame medium and slowly cooked it until golden brown. You don’t need to put here much onions as we already use it on marination.

Once you done with it then pour the marinated fish into it and continuously stir the pan. Otherwise it may stick down or else you can use spatula for stirring. Let it cooked for 5 to 6 minutes and then add here a dash of water and lid the pan.

After that wait for a few minutes and open the lid. Slowly stir the pan. Put the flame low and again lid the pan. Rest it for 5 minutes. After that your dish is absolutely ready to serve. You can have it with plain rice or khichuri whatever you want.
