Hello Hive.

Since we have come to the end phase of the pumpkin garden, all we have left is the sack planted yams which has flourished so well beyond expectations.

Medicinal plants like the Indian leaves, Aloe and others have remained ever green as a result of the water from our over head water tank.

Instead of leaving the space all empty we thought of a plant that grows all year round.

And jute mallow fall in those categories.

Requiring a well drained loamy soil and germinates after 4 weeks of planting and since we consume lots of that vegetables, propagating it over and over again is a good idea.

Here are the new seeds which have sprouted are barely two weeks old.
Sprouting starts at day 4 while harvesting begins at about a month later.

Requiring very little attention, except for a lazy land preparation and watering when the rain is low.

Jute mallow is the fastest and easiest to grow among the vegetable family.
