¡Hola amigos de HIVE! Un cordial y afectuoso saludo para todos ustedes y para la comunidad de #fulldeportes. En esta oportunidad haré un pequeño paréntesis sobre mi trayectoria de las 64 casillas y les hablaré sobre mi reciente experiencia cómo representante de los atletas de mi estado Anzoátegui, en la asamblea general realizada en la ciudad de Caracas , Venezuela por las autoridades de la FVA (Federación Venezolana de Ajedrez).
Cómo les conté en mi primer post existe una federación venezolana de ajedrez, la cuál se encarga de supervisar, reglamenta y administra el deporte ajedrecístico en toda la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, así como las actividades pertinentes al desarrollo de la disciplina en los ámbitos de la masificación, desarrollo deportivo y del deporte de alto rendimiento. La FVA elabora las reglas, metodologías y condiciones relativas y necesarias para la organización de los Campeonatos Nacionales Institucionales y otras competiciones por categoría y modalidad. En esta ocasión tuve la oportunidad de viajar a la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela con 3 representantes de mi asociación y mi persona, los cuáles eran: Presidente de la asociación, representante de árbitros, representante de entrenadores y representante de atletas.
Cada asociación que estuvo presente en la asamblea estaba conformada con su presidente y sus 3 representantes. Estuvieron presentes 11 asociaciones de los siguientes estados: Yaracuy, Lara, Anzoátegui, Trujillo, Portuguesa, Bolívar, La Guaira, Cojedes, Aragua, Carabobo y Guárico.
Siendo un total de 44 personas presentes, momentos previos antes de dar inicio a la asamblea las 44 personas cumplimos con los protocolos de bioseguridad por la pandemia del COVID-19, se realizaron pruebas PCR y se cumplieron con las normas y reglas de protección.
El presidente de la FVA (Federación Venezolana de Ajedrez) Fidel González, junto a su directiva, da inicio a la asamblea general llamando a cada una de las asociaciones a firmar las actas de las credenciales (las credenciales son los documentos de representación del presidente, árbitros, entrenadores y atletas), una vez que todas las asociaciones firmaron su asistencia el presidente da inicio a la asamblea.
Está asamblea estaba dividida en 3 reuniones. En la primera reunión el presidente de la FVA explicó el progreso del ajedrez venezolano en su gestión de 2013-2021.
El ajedrez venezolano ha venido de menos a más en los últimos años, el presidente explicó detalladamente cada uno de los progresos, comenzando con la realización de más de 2000 torneos en la gestión de 2013-2021, recalcando que desafortunadamente en el año 2020 no se pudieron realizar muchos torneos por la pandemia del COVID-19, sin embargo, el ajedrez tuvo un gran ascenso en el juego online lo cuál permitió la realización de muchos torneos en los cuáles la FVA pudo realizar 900 torneos de manera online y satisfactoria, aunado a todo esto en el año 2021 se ha mantenido esta modalidad pero se han podido realizar torneos pequeños de un día de duración y cumpliendo con las medidas de bioseguridad.
El presidente explicó que en el año 2016 y 2018 se logró realizar 2 eventos internacionales de gran escala los cuales fueron el Festival de Ajedrez Centroamericano y del Caribe 2016 con la participación de más de 450 atletas y la participación de nueve países (Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Trinidad y Tobago, y el país anfitrión Venezuela), en este evento Venezuela logra ganar el 1er lugar del todo evento.
El segundo evento de gran escala fue el IX Campeonato Panamericano de Ajedrez Escolar 2018 con la presencia de 262 ajedrecistas de diez naciones del continente (Aruba, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Perú y Venezuela), de igual manera que en el centroamericano del 2016 Venezuela gana el 1er lugar del todo evento.
El presidente de la FVA, Fidel González, destacó que la delegación venezolana de ajedrez que ha participado en los diferentes eventos internacionales siempre ha logrado resultados positivos y ubicándose entre los primeros lugares, poniendo de ejemplo qué en el 2013 Venezuela se ubicó en el puesto #17 en el panamericano de la juventud y en el año 2017 Venezuela logró ubicarse en el puesto #4 debajo de países como USA, Panamá, Canadá, logrando estar por encima de países como Argentina, México y Colombia.
En la gestión de 2013-2021 la FVA ha entregado la cantidad de 219 títulos distribuidos de la siguiente manera:
26 maestro candidato (CM), 25 maestra candidata (WCM), 1 gran maestro (GM), 24 maestros internacionales (IM), 14 maestras internacionales (WIM), 34 maestros fide (FM), 9 maestras fide (WFM), 12 maestros nacionales (MN), 46 expertos nacioanles (EN), 25 títulos de organizadores, 3 títulos de entrenadores, el presidente de la FVA, habló de algo muy interesante y que me llamó mucho la atención y es qué el mencionó que hay que trabajar más por la incorporación de niñas y mujeres en el ajedrez venezolano, de cada 10 practicantes de ajedrez 8 son niños y 2 niñas, hizo mucho énfasis en esta parte porque el ajedrez femenino venezolano puede dar muchas sorpresas y alegrías.
Posteriormente tomó la palabra el árbitro internacional (A.I) Geber Díaz, para explicar los progresos que se ha tenido desde el cuerpo de arbitraje venezolano, el árbitro internacional Geber Díaz, destacó qué es muy importante que todos aquellos qué estén interesados en la formación y conocimientos para convertirse en árbitros nacionales, fide e internacional deben hacer un esfuerzo por tener una base o dominio del idioma inglés, dado que este idioma es muy importante para realizar los cursos de capacitación de la misma, destacó qué en Venezuela se dictan cursos de árbitros nacionales online a través de la plataforma zoom (que anteriormente eran presenciales y por los altos costos eran grupos muy reducidos), el curso se dicta como si fuera para la formación de arbitros fide, pero salen acreditados como árbitro nacional.
60 personas han hecho este curso, los cuales 54 aprobaron la primera fase la cuál es leyes del ajdrez.
La segunda fase, leyes administrativas que circundan el ajedrez nacional e internacional, de las 54 personas que pasaron la primera fase solo 27 lograron aprobar.
La tercera y última fase, leyes de emparejamiento sistema suizo, software swissmanager, aprobado por 27 personas. El árbitro internacional Geber Díaz hizo mucho énfasis en que hay qué motivar a los atletas a la formación de cursos para árbitros tanto nacional, fide e internacional.
En este momento en particular, me llamó la atención qué de 60 personas solo 27 pudieron cumplir las 3 fases y ser acreditados como árbitros nacional, confieso que la idea de convertirme en árbitro en el futuro me parece muy atractiva pero siento que aún no es momento, pero quién sabe, por ahora me concentro en mejorar mi juego y más con la noticia que nos dió el presidente, y es que el ajedrez vuelve a estar en los juegos nacionales (evento deportivo dónde participan todos las disciplinas de alto rendimiento), los últimos juegos en que el ajedrez estuvo presente fue en 2011, en el 2014 el ajedrez no entró porque no estaba en el ciclo olímpico, pero ahora en este 2021 el ajedrez vuelve a estar presente en los juegos nacionales y también estará presente en los juegos continentales (panamericanos, suramericanos, centroamericanos y bolivarianos) y mantener la fe y esperanza en que el ajedrez pueda estar presente en unos juegos olímpicos.
Se terminó está primera reunión y se dió un breve receso para almorzar, y asi poder continuar con la segunda reunión, está misma empezó muy rápido pero me explicaron que era la mas importante porque se discutirían los artículos y reforma de los estatutos en la cuál cada una de las 44 personas presente podía levantar la mano para tomar el turno de palabra y hacer su observación para corregir o mejorar el artículo que se esté discutiendo, estos artículos serían como la constitución o leyes del ajedrez venezolano por lo tanto era la reunión más importante y la que más tiempo tomo, confieso que una vez terminada esta reunión, pude observar qué muchos de los presente se les notaba el cansancio, yo misma me incluyo, fue algo muy maratonico y agotador mentalmente, volvimos a tener un receso para cenar, el cuál fue más rápido que el anterior porque ya era más de las 7 de la noche y aún faltaba una reunión más.
La tercera y última reunión, en lo personal para mí fue la más corta y la que avanzó más rápido, en esta se habló de la reforma y adecuación del reglamento electoral, reglamento electoral que una vez reformado y aprobado por la máxima autoridad que es la asamblea, va a poder permitir convocar a la elección de la comisión electoral para elegir la nueva junta directiva de la FVA que va a regir el destino del ajedrez venezolano los próximos 4 años.
Una vez finalizada las 3 reuniones de manera exitosa se procedió a firmar las actas, se dió por concluida la asamblea.
Después de está experiencia cómo representante de los atletas, observé que el ajedrez venezolano ha venido evolucionando y buscando estar entre lo mejor de lo mejor, sin embargo, considero que es muy importante fortalecer las bases y cimientos del ajedrez femenino venezolano, hay muchas niñas, adolescentes y mujeres con un extraordinario talento que hay que mejorar, toda su estructura, creo firmente que podemos mejorar, incluso igualar la cantidad de títulos obtenidos por el masculino, este año 2021 tuve el honor y la dicha de recibir mi título de maestra nacional el cuál me ha dado más motivos para seguir mejorando y buscar más títulos.

Mi título de Maestra Nacional (MN)
Cómo mencioné, me resulta atractiva la idea de convertirme en árbitro, pude conversar un poco más sobre este tema con el representante de árbitros de mi estado, y el me explicó qué no es tan fácil como se ve, resulta que de las 27 personas que aprobaron las 3 fases obtuvieron 1 norma y se necesitan 3 para ser considerado como árbitro nacional y aunado a eso deben organizar 2 torneos. En ese momento pensé que era mejor seguir jugando jejeje, pero no descarto la posibilidad de qué en un futuro puedo aventurarme en ese camino.
Me dió mucha alegría saber que volvemos a los juegos nacionales después de 10 años, y qué el ajedrez cada vez está ganando más fuerza y recuperando espacios importantes porqué el hecho de estar en los juegos continentales es un gran logro, yo como ajedrecista y deportista que soy tengo mucha fe y esperanza en qué estaremos en los juegos olímpicos porqué si el ajedrez volvió a los juegos continentales es porque hay muchísimas probabilidades que pronto estemos en la mayor fiesta deportiva que son los juegos olímpicos.

In this opportunity I will make a small parenthesis on my trajectory of the 64 squares and tell you about my recent experience as a representative of the athletes of my state of Anzoátegui, in the general assembly held in the city of Caracas, Venezuela by the authorities of the FVA (Venezuelan Chess Federation).
As I told you in my first post, there is a Venezuelan chess federation, which is in charge of supervising, regulating and administering the chess sport throughout the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as the activities related to the development of the discipline in the areas of massification, sports development and high performance sport. The FVA elaborates the rules, methodologies and relative and necessary conditions for the organization of the National Institutional Championships and other competitions by category and modality. On this occasion I had the opportunity to travel to the city of Caracas, Venezuela with 3 representatives of my association and myself, which were: President of the association, referees representative, coaches representative and athletes representative.
Each association that was present at the assembly was conformed with its president and its 3 representatives. Eleven associations from the following states were present: Yaracuy, Lara, Anzoátegui, Trujillo, Portuguesa, Bolívar, La Guaira, Cojedes, Aragua, Carabobo and Guárico.
A total of 44 people were present, moments before the beginning of the assembly, the 44 people complied with the biosecurity protocols for the COVID-19 pandemic, PCR tests were performed and the norms and rules of protection were complied with.
The president of the FVA (Venezuelan Chess Federation) Fidel Gonzalez, along with his board, begins the general assembly calling each of the associations to sign the minutes of the credentials (credentials are the documents of representation of the president, arbiters, coaches and athletes), once all associations signed their attendance the president begins the assembly.
This assembly was divided into 3 meetings. In the first meeting the FVA president explained the progress of Venezuelan chess in his 2013-2021 management.

I confess that the idea of becoming an arbiter in the future seems very attractive to me but I feel that it is not yet time, but who knows, for now I concentrate on improving my game and more with the news that the president gave us, and that is that chess is back in the national games (sporting event where all the high performance disciplines participate), the last games in which chess was present was in 2011, in 2014 chess did not enter because it was not in the Olympic cycle, but now in this 2021 chess will be present again in the national games and will also be present in the continental games (Pan American, South American, Central American and Bolivarian) and keep the faith and hope that chess can be present in the Olympic games.
This first meeting was finished and a short break was given for lunch, so we could continue with the second meeting, this meeting started very fast but they explained to me that it was the most important because they would discuss the articles and reform of the statutes in which each of the 44 people present could raise their hand to take the floor and make their observation to correct or improve the article being discussed, These articles would be like the constitution or laws of Venezuelan chess so it was the most important meeting and the one that took more time, I confess that once this meeting was over, I could see that many of those present were noticeably tired, myself included, it was something very marathon and mentally exhausting, we returned to have a break for dinner, which was faster than the previous one because it was already after 7 pm and there was still one more meeting to go.
The third and last meeting, personally for me was the shortest and the one that progressed faster, in this meeting we talked about the reform and adaptation of the electoral regulations, electoral regulations that once reformed and approved by the highest authority which is the assembly, will be able to convene the election of the electoral commission to elect the new board of directors of the FVA that will govern the destiny of Venezuelan chess the next 4 years.
Once the 3 meetings were successfully completed and the minutes were signed, the assembly was concluded.
After this experience as a representative of the athletes, I observed that Venezuelan chess has been evolving and seeking to be among the best of the best, however, I believe it is very important to strengthen the bases and foundations of Venezuelan women's chess, there are many girls, teenagers and women with an extraordinary talent that have an extraordinary talent that is very important, I firmly believe that we can improve, even equal the amount of titles obtained by the men's chess, this year 2021 I had the honor and joy of receiving my title of national master which has given me more reasons to continue improving and seeking more titles.

The second large-scale event was the IX Pan American School Chess Championship 2018 with the presence of 262 chess players from ten nations of the continent (Aruba, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru and Venezuela), just as in the 2016 Central American Venezuela wins 1st place of the whole event.
The president of the FVA, Fidel Gonzalez, stressed that the Venezuelan chess delegation that has participated in the different international events has always achieved positive results and ranking among the top places, giving as an example what in 2013 Venezuela ranked #17 in the Pan American Youth and in 2017 Venezuela managed to rank #4 below countries like USA, Panama, Canada, managing to be above countries like Argentina, Mexico and Colombia.

My National Master (MN) title
As I mentioned, the idea of becoming a referee is attractive to me, I was able to talk a little more about this topic with the referee representative of my state, and he explained to me what is not as easy as it looks, it turns out that of the 27 people who passed the 3 phases they got 1 standard and you need 3 to be considered as a national referee and coupled with that they must organize 2 tournaments. At that time I thought it was better to keep playing hehehe, but I do not rule out the possibility that in the future I can venture down that road.
I was very happy to know that we are back to the national games after 10 years, and that chess is gaining more and more strength and recovering important spaces because the fact of being in the continental games is a great achievement. As a chess player and sportsman I have a lot of faith and hope that we will be in the Olympic games because if chess returned to the continental games is because there is a great chance that soon we will be in the biggest sports party which are the Olympic games.
