Octubre es un mes muy bonito para Venezuela, pues tradicionalmente es cuando inicia la temporada de béisbol, deporte nacional de nuestro hermoso país.

El béisbol es un deporte que une, dónde se viven pasiones intensas, e inmensas decepciones en ocasiones.
En Venezuela actualmente existe ocho equipos que durante 5 meses luchan por darle una alegría a su fanaticada.
Los equipos más resaltantes de nuestros país son los Leones del Caracas quienes tienen la dicha de haber ganadora más títulos (20) en nuestra pelota criolla y los Navegantes del Magallanes quien cuentan con el mayor número de fanáticos en Venezuela, estando segundo en campeonatos celebrados (12).
Ambos son llamados los eternos rivales, confrontación que lleva más 7 décadas y que cada vez se hace más reñida pues los fanáticos de ambos equipos intentan argumentar porque su elenco es mejor.
Cabe destacar que existen familias dónde hay fanáticos de los dos bandos y a menudo se gastan bromas cuando hay un enfrentamiento entre las selecciones y porsupuesto hay un derrotado, lo mejor de todo es que la mayoría de las veces son bromas jococas y siempre terminan en un sabio abrazo.
No podemos olvidar a los otros 6 equipos que conforman nuestra liga, llamados Tigres de Aragua, Tiburones de la Guairá, Caribes de Azoategui, Bravos de Margarita, Águilas del Zulia y Cardenales de Lara, todos y cada uno de ellos lleno de talentos prominentes y muy competitivos.
En Venezuela, el béisbol es parte de la cultura y la idiosincrasia del Venezolano, dónde quería que te pares (cuando hay temporada) escucharás hablar de béisbol deporte que nos une de corazón.
Debo destacar que yo soy fanática de los Navegantes del Magallanes y donde me paro me siento orgullosa de serlo y tú? A qué equipo perteneces?
