Budol budol or simply budol is actually a form of operation where the victim is usually fooled into giving their money and valuables without any form of struggle. Some say the victims are hypnotized, made to smell some sort of cloth with a liquid on it, or just plainly made to be confused with offers, questions, and other tricks. It used to be that the term budol is associated to a terrible act towards somebody. But over the past few years, the term evolved. It is now used to describe a good buy from a store. But the word budol is still used to describe a scammed deal.
Budol finds is used when you find a really amazing product at a very low price. Budol is real is usually used when the buyer thought the item they purchased at a cheap price was a good deal but turns out to be otherwise.
Since the pandemic has begun, it is not surprising that online purchases have increased significantly. You can tell by how many delivery riders are on the road, and how many times a rider knocks on your neighbors' doors. Shopee and Lazada, two of the most popular online selling platforms in the Philippines have monthly promos. This October, people are on the prowl for their next budol finds for the 10/10 sale.
