Zwei Wochen habe ich es nicht geschaft beim #Beersaturday vom @detlev mitzumachen. In der einen Woche gab es viel Arbeit und am Ende ein Vater-Kind-Zelten. Hier gab es zwar reichlich Bier für die Papas, aber leider keine Zeit für einen Bericht.
Dann gab es wieder eine Woche mit viel Arbeit und, man mag es kaum glauben, gar kein Bier.
So kann es aber nicht weiter gehen und bevor es jetzt drei Wochen werden, habe ich mich jetzt direkt an das Schreiben gemacht.

Two weeks I have not managed to participate in the #Beersaturday of @detlev. In the one week there was a lot of work and at the end a father-child camping. At the camping there was plenty of beer for the dads, but unfortunately no time for a report.
Then there was another week with a lot of work and, believe it or not, no beer at all.
But it can't go on like this. Before it becomes three weeks, I have now started writing directly.
Auch heute hatten wir wieder viel zu erledigen im Haus. Am Morgigen Sonntag findet bei uns ein Treffen der Cousinen und Cousins meiner Frau statt. Durch das ganze Corona-Theater haben wir manche davon schon seit über einem Jahr nicht gesehen. Manche von Ihnen haben sich zwischenzeitlich verlobt und manch anderer hat sogar schon für Nachwuchs gesorgt. Neue Familienmitglieder also, die wir noch gar nicht kennen.
Today we had again a lot to do in the house. Tomorrow, Sunday, we are having a reunion of my wife's cousins. Because of the whole Corona thing, we haven't seen some of them for over a year.
Some of them have become engaged in the meantime and some of them have even had offspring. New family members we don't even know yet.
Einer meiner heutigen Aufgaben war es, Getränke einzukaufen. Also bin ich zum Getränkehändler und habe zwei Kisten Bier/Radler und ein paar andere Softdrinks gekauft.
One of my tasks today was to buy drinks. So I went to the beverage dealer and bought two cases of beer/radler and a few other soft drinks.
Natürlich habe ich in diesem Zusammenhang auch an mich gedacht. Für mich gibt es ein Insel-Pilsner von einer meiner Libelingsbrauereien. Der Rügener Insel-Brauerei!
Ausnahmslos jedes Bier, das ich von dieser Brauerei probiert habe ist gut.
Of course, I also thought of myself in this context. For me there is an island Pilsner from one of my favorite breweries. The Rügen Island Brewery!
Without exception, every beer I have tried from this brewery is very good.
Und hier ein paar Eckdaten zum Bier:
Alkoholgehalt: 5,6%vol
Zutaten: Brauwasser Gerstenmalz, Hopfen und Hefe.
Und ein bisschen was vom Etikett:
Wet-Hop (Nasser Hopfen)
Mit dem typisch saftigen Duft der erntefrischen Hopfendolde.
Passt gut zu frischen Salaten, gedünstetem Fisch, Gegrilltem, pikanter Salami
Untergäriges seltenes Bier, gebraut, abgefüllt und Flaschengereift
And here are a few key data about the beer:
Alcohol content: 5.6%vol
Ingredients: Brewing water barley malt, hops and yeast.
And a little something from the label:
Wet Hop.
With the typical juicy aroma of freshly harvested hops.
Pairs well with fresh salads, steamed fish, grilled meats, spicy salami.
Bottle-fermented rare beer, brewed, bottled and bottle-aged.
Das Bier hat im Glas eine kräftige honiggelbe trübe Farbe. Die schneeweiße Schaumkrone steht so stabil wie ich es zuvor nur selten gesehen habe.
Der Geruch ist nicht sehr intensiv. Eine leichte malzige und eine leichte Hopfennote ist wahrnehmbar.
Der Geschmack erinnert nicht sofort an ein Pilsner. Am Anfang schmeckt es malzig süß, dann cremig würzig und im Abgang schmeckt man den Hopfen und das angenehm Bittere.
The beer has a strong honey-yellow cloudy color in the glass. The snow-white foam crown stands as stable as I have rarely seen before.
The smell is not very intense. A slight malty and a slight hop note is perceptible.
The taste is not immediately reminiscent of a Pilsner. At the beginning it tastes malty sweet, then creamy spicy and in the finish you can taste the hops and the pleasant bitter.
Fazit zum Bier:
Auch diesesmal werde ich nicht enttäuscht von der Insel-Brauerei. Ein tolles Bier für das man auch gerne etwas mehr bezahlt (ca. € 2,50).
Beer Conclusion:
Again, I am not disappointed in the island brewery. A great beer for which one also gladly pays a little more (about € 2.50).
