#Beersaturday
Hello everyone and welcome to a small contribution to the 211th #Beersaturday
This beer was an "Icelandic Toasted Porter" from the Einstök brewery in Iceland (link https://einstokbeer.com/).
I really like the design of the bottle with the Viking and the crossed battle axes and I really enjoy it. My first Icelandic beer.
Alkoholgehalt: 6,0%
This is what the brewery writes about the "Icelandic Toasted Porter":
Clear notes of toffee and dark chocolate make our icelandic toastet porter roasty and rich. This robust yet smooth porter beer will cure your fear oft he dark. Using only the highest quality ingredients we´ve crafted the perfect porter to enjoy with a steak and cigar and still pairs perfectly with a rich fudgy dessert.
Lager, Munich, and chocolate malts are combined with bavarian hops and authentic icelandic roasted coffee using our century old brewing tradition. The result? A medium bodied taste with a sinister black color that will have you seeking out the dark rather than running from it.
Alcohol content: 6.0%
The taste is very pleasant. There are actually flavors of coffee and chocolate to taste. For me, it could also like to be a bit more bitter. The hops could come into their own more. Maybe I drank the beer too cold, but it already reminded me a bit of an iced coffee.
Fazit:
Conclusion:
It is fun to try everything and the "Icelandic - Toasted Porter" makes me a positive experience richer. If I discover this brand again in the shop I will definitely take a few more bottles of this.
Now I'm done and it's your turn. Show us your beer and write a few lines about it. Also on the next #Beersaturday there are still prizes in the form of Beertoken, Hive, Leo and Upvotes.
