Kralj Matjaž #8 Pale Ale
Brewed by client brewery Kralj Matjaž, Novo Mesto, Slovenia.
I was a bit surprised because there is not a word about beer on their website (ha, they deal with pizzas), only later I read somewhere that beer is brewed for them in microbrevery Valjhun.
Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.6% ABV. American Pale Ale style. But let's taste their recipe.
The beer is light brown, almost copper in color, the foam is firm but not much. The first sip is pleasantly bitter, with non-intrusive citrus flavors and a note of hay in the background. The bitterness of the hops remains in the mouth for quite sometime after the last sip.
It works very drinkable and very fresh. A good product, especially because it’s just a recipe and they don’t brew it themselves. Since it can be obtained at local stores it will very likely land in my fridge.

Ringwood Razorback Amber Craft Ale
Brewed by Ringwood Brewery, Ringwood, England. Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 3.6% ABV. Amber craft ale and exceptionally refreshing they say. OK, let's taste.
The beer is light brown, amber in color, the foam is solid and drops quickly. An average bitter first sip with flavors of something spirited. Caramel maybe? In the background are notes of herbs, and all together the bitterness of hops prevails even after the last sip.
I would say it's light and drinkable, refreshing anyway, mainly because of the lower alcohol content. If I had it in local stores it would land in my fridge several times. But because they don’t have it, only exceptionally.
And that's all, I don't have any beer left :(
