How are you? If you are counting crypto coins in the Hive social blockchain you are definitely in a good mood these days. Me too.
After a whole day of intense work in the morning at my job on some plans and screenings and in the afternoon when my wife and I went to the field to pick potatoes, I am now slightly tired, happy because of #beersaturday and facing a terrible beer dilemma.
I have three beers that have been chilling in the fridge all day and now I will afford them. But ... which one should I start with?
Ugh ... I didn't think long. Like Alexander the Great, I quickly cut this Gordian knot. I'll start with the one with the least alcohol and then on :)

Blanche de Namur
Brewed by Brasserie Du Bocq, Namur, Belgium. Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 4.5% ABV. It's a Belgian White ale or Wheat beer with exotic spices. They say that's the world's best wheat beer in 2019. Ugh, that's amazing. Let's taste!

The beer is a dull yellow or golden color with a solid foam. The first sip is pleasant, with slight sweet nuances of malt, discreet bitterness of hops, goes smoothly down the throat. Spices are felt, coriander predominates than citruses but balanced, no aroma sticks out.
I don't like coriander as a spice, and I don't use it in dishes, but it's very refreshing in this beer and gives a special note.
Very balanced, refreshing, and delicate flavors. It is clear to me why they got the award.
I don't usually appreciate wheat beers too much, but this one is really great for me. Very suitable for the fridge and presenting wheat beer to someone.

Devetka Belgium Pale Ale
Brewed by microbrewery Devetka Craft Beer, Kotarice, Croatia. Bottle, 0.33l, alcohol 5.1% ABV.
Belgian pale ale style, malty and fruity with Belgian hops. Cool. In English Devetka means Nine. Let's taste The Nine!
Light brown, a little cloudy, quite foamy, which lasts for some time. The first sip goes smoothly down my throat, I feel malt, the bitterness of the hops is more in the background, some fruit aromas, apples, citrus, but very discreetly, the bitterness eventually disappears.
The average ale, drinkable, because it’s cold is still quite refreshing, but nothing special, there’s no excess here.
Not bad but for something more they will have to work harder ... maybe I'm still impressed by the previous one?

Metulj, New England IPA
Brewed by Clef Brewery, Petrovče, Slovenia. Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.6% ABV. New England IPA or NEIPA which means that it is a strong, very aromatic bitter beer. They say:
Metulj is a beer of misty lightness with the playfulness of citrus, which tickles the palate and perfectly complements the butterflies in the stomach ...
Hops: Styrian Dana (SLO), Styrian Dragon (SLO), Amarillo (USA), Mosaic (USA), Citra (USA).

The beer is very dull yellow with a lot of foam that stays for a long time. Even before the first sip, when I poured into the glass, I smelled a very strong smell of citrus and hops. It smells very nice. The tastes are like that too.
Already in the first sip, I tasted the bitterness of hops, but not as strong as you expect with NEIPA beer and the citrus aroma that prevails. The beer goes smoothly down the throat, the bitterness of the hops remaining for some time.
A very good and refreshing beer, but I disagree with NEIPA.
Good IPA yes, but it doesn’t have as strong and pronounced aromas as NEIPA style beer.
Otherwise, the beer is very good, refreshing, and delicious. I would have it in the fridge.
Oh, and Metulj in English means butterfly ...
