Die Sonne geht auf, dachte ich bei mir als ich ein für mich neues Bier im Supermarkt Regal erblickte. Vier Flaschen unter 4 Euro und im Original in Mexiko gebraut, da schlug ich zu.
Nicht das ich mexikanische Biere in besonders guter Erinnerung hätte, selbst beim CORONA Bier ist der Name das beste am Getränk, aber da @detlev in seinem 225igsten BeerSaturday schon wieder zum trinken aufruft, wagte ich mich an diesen Exoten.
The sun rises, I thought to myself when I saw a beer new to me on the supermarket shelf. Four bottles under 4 euros and brewed in Mexico in the original, I grabbed.
Not that I would have Mexican beers in particularly good memory, even with CORONA beer is only the name the best thing about the drink, but since @detlev in his 225th BeerSaturday already again calls to drink, I dared to this exotic.
Sieh an, mit Solar Energie gebraut.
Das ist natürlich lobenswert, wird dem Geschmack des Bieres aber sicher nicht beeinflussen.
Aber dazu später mehr, jetzt schauen wir uns den Mexikaner erst mal näher an.
Durchsichtige Bierflaschen finde ich eigentlich nicht so prickelnd, sieht irgendwie unappetitlich aus.
Lo and behold, brewed with solar energy.
That's commendable, of course, but it certainly won't affect the taste of the beer.
But more on that later, for now, let's take a closer look at the Mexican.
Transparent beer bottles I do not find so tingly, look somehow unappetizing.
Aber diese gefällt mir, mit ihrer sonnigen Ausstrahlung und als ich sie öffnete um in ein Glas zu kippen, bemerkte ich den aufsteigenden Schaum am Flaschenhals, das prickeln der Kohlensäure war auch nett anzusehen und so stellte ich das Glas beiseite und beschloss aus der Flasche zu genießen.

Ob dieser 4,5% prozentige Leichtfuß auch die Sonne in meinem Herzen aufgehen ließ, sehen wir gleich.

Whether this 4.5% percent light foot also made the sun rise in my heart, we'll see in a moment.
Fassungslos und laut lachend rief ich mein Liebchen herbei, brauchte ich doch dringend eine Bestätigung für das was mir nach dem ersten Schluck in den Sinn kam und reichte ihr die Flasche zum probieren.
„ Das ist ja Wasser „ rief Sie erschrocken aus und schaute mich entsetzt an.
Das Mädchen hatte völlig recht, genau das war auch mein erster Gedanke.
So ich mich recht erinnere, hatte ich noch nie im Leben ein so geschmacksneutrales Bier getrunken, womit eine weitere Besprechung hinfällig wird, es ist alles gesagt.
Stunned and laughing out loud, I called my sweetheart over, needing urgent confirmation of what came to mind after the first sip, and handed her the bottle to try.
"This is water," she exclaimed and looked at me in horror.
The girl was absolutely right, that was exactly my first thought.
As I recall, I had never drunk such a tasteless beer in my life, which makes any further discussion moot, it's all been said.
Okay zur Verteidigung der Brauer muss ich gestehen, das es mir trotzdem gemundet hat, denn bei der momentanen Hitze war dieser Trunk ein ganz hervorragender Durstlöscher und hat als alkoholisches Erfrischungsgetränk durchaus seine Daseinsberechtigung, aber Bier ist das nicht, zumindest nicht für mich.
Die drei anderen Flaschen zischte ich direkt hinterher, es war bekömmlich und der Durst gestillt.
Okay in defense of the brewers I must confess that I liked it anyway, because in the current heat this drink was an excellent thirst quencher and has its raison d'être as an alcoholic refreshment, but beer is not, at least not for me.
The other three bottles I fizzed directly afterwards, it was digestible and the thirst quenched.
FAZIT: Viel besser als Cola, Limo oder Alkopops, erfrischend und spritzig, hübsch anzusehen und ideal für heiße Sommertage. Man kann es getrost auch ohne Freunde trinken.
Will man aber ein echtes Bier, sollte man auch zu einem greifen und sich nicht vom sonnig anmutenden SOL blenden lassen! 😎🍻
CONCLUSION: Much better than cola, soda or alcopops, refreshing and tangy, pretty to look at and ideal for hot summer days. You can drink it confidently even without friends.
But if you want a real beer, you should also reach for one and not be blinded by the SOL! 😎🍻
