Liquid Gold - Beer Saturday Week 217

Devil's Peak Craft Beer - Non-Alcoholic

During prohibition with holiday already planned what! Yes you heard right, now how do you enjoy a sun-downer without a beer you may ask.

After scouting around the normal food shops we found some Devils Peak beer called "Hero", actually pleasantly surprised a non-alcoholic beer could still taste like a beer.

Brewed in the Cape by family who take time to fine-tune beers to suit the palette of our hot days and for the love of beer, so be brave and try them if you ever find this bold beer.

Having taste tested the Devils Peak Lager after @rynow had posted, when I saw them in store and I thoroughly enjoyed a few, so here is to the Hero when you really caught between a rock and a hard place.

Caps off to arriving in bottles 330ml, one thing I really don't enjoy is beer in a can.

Poured neatly without too large a head to froth over the top in a hasty pour dying to take a sip.

Size, ingredients used and percentage alcohol per volume... Not bad!

Apt label, considering our fourth spell in a prohibition period with this crazy pandemic!

When The Occasion Demands - There are times when a non-alcoholic beer is a must. At Devil's Peak, we are proud to brew a hero that's close to zero and still tastes like a full beer. Be a hero. Fortune Favours Bold.

Totally agree, these were life savers....

Right to the last sip, golden bubbles danced off the bottom of the glass, a delightful beer I would buy again for when you not in the mood for alcohol at a braai (BBQ).
