Greetings wonderful Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding Communities!

It's Saturday again, and that means Caturday! Yes, Caturday is my favorite day of the week, and probably also the favorite of cats and cats fanciers everywhere! Get out your cat pictures and share!

It's another sunny day here in our little corner of the world!

The Dad-Hooman has been outside doing some trimming of the trees and bushes. He wouldn't let me come out and help him because of "falling things," but I don't mind too much as I can watch from my cat perch... and what he's been doing actually gives me a better view.

Everybody wins!

Meanwhile, the Mom-Hooman went to Seattle this morning to hang out with the Daughter-Hooman for the weekend. They are painting a barn, I think...

HF 25 Dust Has Settled...

Meanwhile, the proverbial "dust" seems to have settled after Hardfork 25, and I have to say that there actually was impressively little dust to worry about!

I did manage to earn some fairly spectacular curation rewards for a couple of days, due to the only significant SNAFU of the changeover... and now things are back to normal, although I think I am actually earning slightly more in terms of daily average curation than I was before the Hardfork.

So that's kind of cool!

Meanwhile, I'm getting closer and closer to 2,000HP, which is not bad for a modest cat blog, if I say so, myself!

Crypto Doldrums?

Meanwhile, the cryptosphere seems uncharacteristically quiet, as everything seems to be mostly sliding sideways. It almost feels like everyone lost interest, to some degree.

I'm not too worried, as I am still here for the long haul.

Summers tend to be slow anyway, while Hoomans take holidays and the kids are out of school... although with all the Pandemic nonsense, nothing is "normal" anymore.

Community Building...

Meanwhile, we have to keep building and strengthening our own community (and sub-communties) here on Hive!

I know there are some marketing programs afoot... and I just hope they can help bring in just the right amount — and quality — of users to organically continue building what we have going on here.

I'd like to see some more cat bloggers, too!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
