Found a friendly stray cat in Murcia

Most park cats are sketchy about humans and it was a nice surprise, when taking pictures of scenery in Murcia one meowed for some scratches. Had not seen any before in the town, so the luck turned and found some along a nice walkway.

The temperature still rises above 30C, so they stay in the shadows at the daytime. So it is siesta time for cats and local people alike.

It is a caturday and also many worldwide demonstrations for freedom, watched a stream from Finland, with more than a thousand people. It is really rare to see people gathering together for freedom, perhaps the tides are turning, while gene therapy passports were introduced in the north.

The audio is a bit scrambled, the phone does have got some issues with the newest update. Made a livestream in the morning to a Finnish video platform Tokentube, which became grainy and ended suddenly, when some officers went by with their brand new motorcycles.

Going back to the center found a few more furry animals, who do not seem to be scared of dogs passing by. They seem to be more afraid of humans, perhaps they got badly treated by some folks.

Passed by the place before without seeing any cats, so the walk back was pleasantly surprised to see the felines chilling. Perhaps the luck is returning after some sleepless nights and a toothache.

The white cat reminded me of the one in my grandparents place, who lived almost 15 years. Well taken care of and a lot of forest to go around, it was not a surprise.

Have not had a pet for a few decades, mostly living as a vagabond and having adventures around Europe. Travelling with a big dog in Spain is really challenging, more so with a cat supposedly. Good thing is, that having a trained eyes for stray cats sitting still makes up the lack of "ownership".
