Desde hace varias semanas les he estado comentando que en la academia tenemos varias salas para dar los diferentes cursos pero no todas están ambientadas.
Hemos ido trabajando en la pintura, los murales y lo último que faltaba concretar era que tuviéramos el aire acondicionado para poder utilizar la sala. Ya los murales podríamos irlos trabajando poco a poco.
Por fin el fin de semana pasado se pudo instalar y podríamos estrenar con la primera clase de pintura el día martes.

For several weeks I have been telling you that in the academy we have several rooms to give the different courses but not all of them are set up.
We have been working on the painting, the murals and the last thing we needed to do was to have the air conditioning to be able to use the room. We could work on the murals little by little.
Finally last weekend it was possible to install it and we could start with the first painting class on Tuesday.
Como siempre mi hijo me acompañó y esperamos un buen rato a que llegaran mis otras alumnas pero pasaban los minutos y nada que llegaban.
Luego de un rato llegó la única alumna de ese día, que es una que me está acompañando desde que comencé a dar clases en la academia pero que tocó colocarla en un nivel más básico de pintura pues no cuenta con la habilidad y la motivación para el contenido que me encuentro trabajando actualmente.
Así que para ella, preparé un dibujo de un unicornio para que coloreara como ella quisiera.
Ella se sintió bien entusiasmada al verlo e inmediatamente comenzó a colorear. Con mi hijo en cambio estuve trabajando con las diferentes texturas que podemos lograr en el dibujo y la pintura, algo que le expliqué a el y a otra de mis alumnas en la clase anterior.
As always my son accompanied me and we waited a long time for my other students to arrive, but the minutes passed and nothing came.
After a while the only student of the day arrived, who has been with me since I started teaching at the academy but I had to place her in a more basic level of painting because she does not have the ability and motivation for the content that I am currently working on.
So for her, I prepared a drawing of a unicorn for her to colour as she wished.
She was very excited to see it and immediately started colouring. With my son I was working with the different textures we can achieve in drawing and painting, something I explained to him and another of my students in the previous class.
Uno de los murales que debía arreglar era un intento que hizo la mamá de mi compañera en una de las paredes. Ella tenía una idea muy buena, que la verdad a mi me gustó cuando la planteó pero al momento de ejecutarla no salió tan bien como se esperaba.
Hice un esfuerzo para aumentar su grosor y ver si aún tenían salvación pero la verdad no resultó tan bien, pues como ellas tienen una forma algo chueca no sirve de mucho hacerlas más gruesas, tengo que pensar en otra idea para mejorarlas. (acepto sugerencias)
One of the murals I had to fix was an attempt that my colleague's mother had made on one of the walls. She had a very good idea, which I really liked when she proposed it, but when it came to executing it, it didn't turn out as well as expected.
I made an effort to increase their thickness and see if they still had salvation but the truth is that it didn't turn out so well, as they have a somewhat crooked shape it doesn't help much to make them thicker, I have to think of another idea to improve them (I accept suggestions).
La niña se entretuvo la mayor parte del tiempo pintando su unicornio y mientras hablábamos un poco de ella y nos contaba sus anécdotas.
Me contó una bien chistosa de cómo su mamá le sacó dos dientes con un alicate que era de su papá. 😂
Luego firmó su dibujo y otro que hizo la semana pasada que no tenía firma y ya luego posó con su obra lista.
The little girl spent most of the time painting her unicorn and while we talked a bit about her and she told us her anecdotes.
She told me a funny one about how her mum pulled out two of her teeth with a pair of pliers that belonged to her dad. 😂
Then she signed her drawing and another one she did last week that didn't have a signature, and then she posed with her work ready.
A mi hijo le hice un personaje de One Piece para que coloreara luego de terminar con las texturas. Le quedó muy lindo la verdad. 😊
Tanto él como la otra alumna se divirtieron mucho pintando sus personajes, esto es algo que pienso aplicar de vez en cuando, para practicar la técnica del coloreado, pues claro que la ides es que ellos aprendan a hacer ellos mismos los dibujos que deseen colorear luego.
I made my son a One Piece character for him to colour after finishing the textures. He really liked it very much. 😊
Both he and the other student had a lot of fun painting their characters, this is something I plan to apply from time to time, to practice the colouring technique, because of course the idea is that they learn to make their own drawings that they want to colour later.
Para integrarlos un poco con el mural que se está haciendo en la otra pared con manchas, les dije que me ayudaran haciendo una de ellas. Esto les gustó mucho y así cada vez que las vean sabrán que ellos aportaron su granito de arena para hacer de este un salón más lindo. ♥
To integrate them a bit with the mural that is being done on the other wall with stains, I asked them to help me by making one of them. They really liked this and every time they see them they will know that they did their bit to make this a nicer room. ♥
Así terminamos la clase, yo quedé feliz y satisfecha y sé que poco a poco todo tomará un mejor rumbo. Por los momentos siento que ha sido un golpe acertado el trabajar con dibujos hechos por mi para que ellos sientan más motivación por las clases y se animen a continuar.

So we finished the class, I was happy and satisfied and I know that little by little everything will take a better course. At the moment I feel that it has been a stroke of luck to work with drawings made by me so that they feel more motivation for the classes and are encouraged to continue.
