隆Saludos, amigos!

Greetings, friends! Yesterday, as many of you will already know, the Caracas metro broke deficiency records and left many people affected in one way or another.

I was going to give Karate classes in Los Dos Caminos as usual during the week, when I noticed what is already common on a daily basis; delay in train service. The train to which it was going took "longer than usual at each station" and the company authorities only affirmed that it was due to an electrical failure that occurred hours before from the Palo Verde plant. Which, although it could be true, did not justify the slow speed at which the train was moving, the little air that was ventilated inside it and the noises it made when walking.

When we arrived at the Miranda station, they reported that the train would only work until the next station (Los Dos Caminos), which gave me some peace of mind, because at least I would reach my destination. But shortly after moving forward I hear a loud crash and see a great light a car away; something had exploded. People started running towards the first cars, screaming and crying. I tried to maintain maximum composure and stepped aside, due to a case of bronchitis that I am just emerging from; While the smoke could give me a serious case of apnea, being with so many people close to each other was not the best idea either.

In a short time I see that people begin to break the windows of the train, victims of panic. Children were crying and disabled and elderly people had great difficulty getting off the train. Someone also opened one of the emergency doors (existence that should be information for everyone) and many more came out there, including me. Between the tunnel wall and the train itself, we had to pass part of the tunnel to get out of that nightmare.

Vi gente asustada por morir. Vi gente ayudando y alentando a otra.

I saw people scared to die. I saw people helping and encouraging another. I saw people who were concerned that others would not get hurt by electricity. I saw people passing by the elderly and children on the ground ... All this made me think a lot about the human being.
