This time I join the contest "La arepa nos une " an excellent and appetizing contest, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of World Arepa Day, #DiaMundialDeLaArepa that traditionally takes place on the second Saturday of September, proposed by @luisacarola, a theme on the #LaArepaNosUne, which reminds us of the delicious and traditional arepa, which unites us with family, friends in special and everyday moments of our lives.

This delicious corn-based food, round, warm and soft, is the delirium of many, especially of us Venezuelans, after all **who doesn't remember an arepa?

In my state of Zulia, Venezuela, they are eaten in abundance, with everything, but there is one that makes the difference from the rest of the Venezuelan arepas, the arepa cabimera, because they are not stuffed as in the rest of the country; in the city of Cabimas, the arepa is fried and serves as a crunchy base for the elements and ingredients that are placed on it, the most popular are made of stewed shredded meat, there are also chicken, pork leg, pork rinds, shrimp and all kinds of meat with ham, cheese and even mal de ojo **¡mas buenaaa primo! **

"irresistible"

¿Do you have a favorite arepa?

Well, I do, not one but several, among them arepa stuffed with ham, white cheese, yellow cheese and mayonnaise, well resolved, which has been my inspiration to dare to participate. **irresistible
