¡Hola a todos! Me agrada mucho esta iniciativa que nos permite admirar el arte que en ocasiones pasa desapercibido en los lugares en donde vivimos. Pensando en ello, vengo a mostrarles un mural surrealista que vi mientras daba un paseo con mi novio. No sé, quién es el artista, el mural está algo descolorido por el sol y su firma no se entiende. Sólo sé que fue realizado en el año 2017, está ubicado en una plaza del Este de Barquisimeto, en Venezuela.

Hi everyone! I really like this initiative that allows us to admire art that sometimes goes unnoticed in the places where we live. Thinking about it, I come to show you a surreal mural that I saw while taking a walk with my boyfriend. I don't know who the artist is, the mural is somewhat discolored by the sun and his signature is not understood. I only know that it was made in the year 2017, it is located in a square in the east of Barquisimeto, in Venezuela.

Realmente no entiendo el concepto, es tan bizarro que llamó mi atención en cuanto lo vi. Debo admitirlo, aquella mirada me da miedo je je pero lo de la ballena me hizo pensar en Hive, así que mi mente lo asoció con eso, con usuarios de Hive hablando sobre ballenas je je La plaza en la que está ubicado está en una zona en la que no hay mucha movilidad, normalmente la gente va a reunirse a hacer yoga o a estirar las piernas en las tardes, no le prestan atención a aquella pared, a pesar de que los ojos parecieran estarte mirando fijamente. Me parece perturbador, pero lo extraño del concepto y el hecho de que parezca pintado con crayones, es lo que me parece que lo hace genial.

I really don't understand the concept, it is so bizarre that it caught my attention as soon as I saw it. I must admit, that look scares me hehe but the whale thing made me think of Hive, so my mind associated it with that, with Hive users talking about whales hehe The square in which it is located is in an area in which there is not much mobility, normally people go to gather to do yoga or stretch their legs in the afternoon, they do not pay attention to that wall, even though their eyes seem to be staring at you. I find it disturbing, but the weirdness of the concept, and the fact that it looks like it was painted with crayons, is what I think makes it great.

Adicional a ese mural, en la pared de al lado, hay un dibujo más pequeño del mismo artista. Es un dibujo de una especie de abeja o avispa con unas alas que parecen ramas, llevando lo que a mi me parece, es una especie de bola llena de sangre ¿Qué rayos significa eso? Al igual que con el otro mural, no tengo la más mínima idea, pero el hecho de que el autor de los dibujos, ponga al espectador a cuestionarse la razón del porqué dibujó esas cosas, es muy interesante. Espero hallar trabajos de éste tipo más seguido, se han vuelto mis favoritos. Lástima que con el tiempo, es probable que acaben borrándose por completo.

In addition to that mural, on the next wall, there is a smaller drawing by the same artist. It's a drawing of a kind of bee or wasp with wings that look like branches, carrying what it seems to me, it's a kind of ball full of blood. What the hell does that mean? As with the other mural, I don't have the slightest idea, but the fact that the author of the drawings makes the viewer wonder why he drew those things is very interesting. I hope to find jobs of this type more often, they have become my favorites. Too bad that over time, it is likely that they will end up fading completely.
