Mexican Murals - Reclining in Tacubaya [CCC's Street Art Contest #14]

The week has come and gone, and again there is new CCC Street Art Contest. I'm just realizing I completely missed out on the previous one, out of all, it was the lucky number 13... Oh no, what are things coming to? So time to get back into the game and post another mural I found a while back.

Lifelike in Super Size

This mural has been towering over a parking area in the neighborhood of Tacubaya in Mexico City, not far from where I live, at the intersection of Ave Revolución and Martires de Tacubaya. It's been up for four years, meaning that it received a good amount of respect... or it is simply to large and too far up to be vandalized easily.

The image shows a young woman in a comfy position, reclining on a sofa, maybe watching a series on a streaming service. Her face and arms look very realistic, while her surroundings are merely suggested to be pillows or cushions.

The artist's tag is relatively legible Jamus or Jamos but trying to find it online left me without any result. This is also the reason why I haven't posted this mural until now. Maybe you can help discover his website? If you do, I'll make sure to include it, and give you a special shout-out.

Otherwise, if you have some cool pics of some amazing street art, join the challenge. There are not many contestants, which means you'll have a good chance of winning. Though most of us would probably agree that it's all about participating.
