Viktor Tsoi wall

Hi, dear fiiends!

This post I want to devote to the Wall of Viktor Tsoi, which is located in Moscow at Arbat street, house number 37.

Viktor Tsoi is a cult Soviet rock musician and actor, founder of the Kino rock group. At the age of 28 he died in a car accident.

Almost immediately after the death of the musician, his fans created a memorial. They say that after the news of Viktor Tsoi's death, someone on the wall of house No. 37 wrote in black paint: “Today Viktor Tsoi died. We will respect you!" Another unknown person added:" Choi is alive". Since then, in memory of Tsoi, new inscriptions and drawings have been constantly appearing on the wall.

They tried to paint over the wall, but Tsoi's fans restored it over and over again.

It seems to me that now all the opponents of this wall have come to terms with its existence, and it has become one of the attractions of the Arbat, becoming its symbol.

These are fresh photos. I made them last week, while walking around Moscow.
But in my photo archive I found photographs of Tsoi's Wall from the fall of 2017. Four years ago, she looked a little different. It seems to me that it was less colorful:
