Hello Hivers! I just want to share this new experience I had during the competition. Our Local Youth Development Organization celebrated International Youth Day with different activities. All youth within the City were called to participate in the said event and one of the activities I joined was the Mural Painting Competition with the theme: "A Big Salute to Covid-19 Warriors". There were several young artists who joined the competition and most of them are very familiar to me, especially @pencilkhen. The activity gathered seven teams with three members each. All of us were given three days to finish our concept of mural painting.
During the first day of the competition, every team showed their different ways of being united. But that doesn't only limit the unity within the team, there was also the unity between teams. There was a sharing of materials, eating lunch together, and having fun while painting.
Each team created its unique and best concept of the theme. We have to show how we give a salute to all frontlines of Covid-19 who became heroes in this time of the pandemic. Below are the different concepts of the teams.

Every team did very well from the beginning of the competition but there's always best from the judges. Below are the teams who took the top three places.

What I learned from this competition?
I joined different competitions before and I've already learned a lot. It is not just about winning the prizes but gaining more knowledge and wisdom, unity, traveling to other places, and gaining new friends. Win or lose, always accept it. 😊
