It's always good to remember this trip to Ceará. Ceará is a state in northeastern Brazil, with welcoming and fun people that make you not want to leave there.

Hope you enjoy it and also check my latest post about this trip, I'll write down the Link at the end of this post.

The journey starts at Beberibe city, a small and charming village that has the local economy revolves around handicrafts made by locals and the city tourism.

One of the first tour spots is this very charming San Peter Church.

Igreja de São Pedro

The village is located on a highland, which you can appreciate the beach and the colorful sand walls from cliffs all along the beach. Then you follow to cliff labyrinth tour.

After some handicraft shopping and some interesting facts about this wonderful place, the guide leads us to Falésias.

In geology, a cliff (Falésia) is an area of rock that has a general angle defined by the vertical, or nearly vertical. Are formed by the processes of weathering and erosion. Cliffs are common on coasts, in mountainous areas, escarpments, and along rivers. Sedimentary rocks most likely to form cliffs include sandstone, limestone, chalk, and dolomite. Igneous rocks such as granite and basalt also often form cliffs.

The visit to the Monumento Natural das Falésias de Beberibe (the complete location name) is guided by a local guide. No cars or vehicles are allowed and all the way is good walking on dunes and sand. In the end, you can contribute with the amount you think the guide deserves, no fixed price for the tour is set.

It's strictly forbidden to collect sand or scratch it. As it's compacted sand, it's very soft, and all efforts to preserve it from erosion are a must.

At the end of the hiking, Buggys are waiting for you. You can ride it to visit other near locations as dunes, rock formations, lakes, and other spots around there.

We took the ride and totally worth it. Take some rest at the lake, refresh from the very hot sun, and recharge batteries for more adventure.

We did not register this part of the ride with any pictures, so we could enjoy it with more pleasure and disconnect a little from technologies.

Also, we drink few beers, caipirinhas and eat tasty fish there at local kiosks. Very pleasant time...

After that, we return to Buggy and went for a ride on the Dunes that was very radical, with full throttle up and downs with no safety belt! Awesome! A dune rollercoaster!

Fast stop for some pictures and return our way downtown.

And as everything comes to an end... that was it, we return to the Morro Branco beach, drink few more drinks, and prepare ourselves for a good night of rest after a very full and happy day.
