Waiting for Sunset in Andaman Bay, Sabang Island, Indonesia.

Sabang Island has an area of around 153 square kilometers and is part of Sabang City. The city of Sabang itself consists of several small islands around it, but Sabang Island is the largest and most famous for local and foreign tourists. Sabang Island does have a natural charm that is very interesting, in terms of natural mountains, the ocean with water that is very clear like glass, and many historical tourist objects which are historical relics from the Second World War era which really attract the attention of tourists who come to this island.

Well, there is one more thing that all tourists who visit this island are looking forward to, namely seeing the sunset. Because it is located on an island or in the middle of the ocean, the view of the sunset when we watch it from this island really feels hypnotic, in the second the sun goes down it is as if the sun has really entered the bottom of the ocean, and if it is opposite a mountain then it is as if the sun really enters the mountain, a very beautiful moment if you have the opportunity to watch the sunset in a location like this island.

In the afternoon we left for Sabang City from our accommodation at the Mata Ie Resort, not far from our accommodation, spending about 45 minutes on the way to Sabang City. In Sabang City, there is a very suitable place to watch the sunset, namely at the City Fort.

This City Fort is located in the corner of Sabang City, and its location is close to the coast of Sabang City, and next to this City Fort is Andaman Bay which is a place to wait for the sunset in the afternoon before sunset. This City Fort is one of the tourist attractions in the Sabang City area, this place is very often visited by tourists because the location of this fort has a very beautiful ocean view, especially since its location is in Andaman Bay, and you can also reach mountain views from the distance, especially the view of the sunset that every visitor who comes to this fort dreams of.

In the afternoon, Fort Kota is very busy with visitors, there are those who just relax while buying culinary snacks typical of Sabang Island, whose sellers can be found along the city streets, and there are also those who specifically enjoy the amazing natural views.

Being here feels like being in a deep reverie, with the gentle sea breeze blowing us away with the extraordinary beauty of God's natural creation, the atmosphere is calm and comfortable, so perfect. Sitting in the City Fort and overlooking the Andaman Bay, occasionally you will see ships passing by on the ocean which makes us entertained by such an atmosphere, but we are still determined on the goal of waiting for the beauty of the sunset, and that will happen soon, and I will drifting away in reverie as the sun sets, truly feeling and appreciating its beauty.

Truly amazing God's creation, enjoying the view of the sunset brings a deep satisfaction that cannot be expressed in words. Not everywhere we can enjoy a sunset view as clear as this.

On Sabang Island there are several locations where we can see the sunset as clearly as here, such as at Sumur Tiga Beach, Gapang Beach, Iboih Beach, Karang Beach, the Indonesian Zero Kilometer Zero Point Monument, at Sarang Cave, and at Benteng Kota which is the place we visit at this time, we chose Benteng Kota because its location is closer than the others, but if you are on holiday on Sabang Island and want to see the sunset view, you can choose a place closer to where you rent accommodation, there are many other choices besides Benteng Kota as a location to watch the sunset, that was my experience while on holiday to Sabang Island, hopefully this can be important information if you later intend to go on holiday to Sabang Island, hopefully it will be useful.,
