Hello, dear hiking friends,
It was a true photo book weekend and we were lucky enough to have decided a few weeks ago for a trip to the beautiful alpine foothills to Oberstdorf in Germany.
Our intention for the first day was the Rubihorn (1.957 m) but not like most tourists sometime around noon, no we wanted to be the first and toast with our "Gipfelhalbe" just in time for sunrise.

es war ein wahres Bilderbuch Wochenende und Wir hatte das Glück, das wir uns vor einigen Wochen schon für einen Ausflug in das schöne Alpen Vorgebirge nach Oberstdorf in Deutschland entschieden hatten.
Unser vorhaben für den ersten Tag war das Rubihorn (1.957 m) allerdings nicht wie die meisten Touristen irgendwann gegen Mittag, nein wir wollten die Ersten sein und mit einer herrlichen "Gipfelhalbe" pünktlich zum Sonnenaufgang anstoßen.
No sooner said than done ... So after a short discussion the clocks were set at 2:30 the backpacks packed and the headlamps once again charged, at 3:30 the adventure should begin.
Gesagt getan ... Also wurden nach kurzer Diskussion die Wecker auf 2:30 Uhr gestellt die Rucksäcke gepackt und die Stirnlampen noch einmal aufgeladen, um 3:30 Uhr sollte das Abenteuer beginnen.
After a leisurely night hike over partial trails that you shouldn't take your eyes off even in daylight, we actually made it to the top of Rubihorn 20 minutes before the 6:41am sunrise we researched online.
Nach einer gemütlichen Nachtwanderung über teilweise Wege, die man auch bei Tageslicht nicht aus den Augen lassen sollte, haben wir es tatsächlich 20 Minuten vor dem online recherchierten Sonnenaufgang um 6:41 Uhr auf den Gipfel des Rubihorns geschaft.
Since we did not know beforehand what kind of luck we would have with the weather, we did not yet know how our day should continue after this magical moment.
But since we had already covered most of the altitude, there was really only the way further up to the Nebelhorn (2,224m).
Da wir vorher nicht wussten, was für ein Glück wir mit dem wetter haben würden, wussten wir noch nicht, wie unser Tag nach diesem zauberhaften Moment weiter gehen sollte.
Aber da wir schon mal die meisten Höhenmeter zurückgelegt hatten, gab es eigentlich nur den weg weiter hinauf auf das Nebelhorn (2.224m).
And so we could enjoy another summit beer at the top of the Nebelhorn.
Anyone who has now got pleasure, I can only recommend this tour, the landscape is in pictures Nichteinmal nearly as breathtaking as in reality.

Und so konnten wir uns auf der Spitze des Nebelhorns ein weiteres Gipfelbier schmecken lassen.
Jedem, der jetzt lust bekommen hat, kann ich diese Tour nur empfehlen, die Landschaft ist auf Bildern Nichteinmal annähernd so atemberaubend wie in Wirklichkeit.
Das war es auch schon wieder von mir.
