Best vacation is the one involving seaside. Even just for a day.
Piran has a lovely buildings and cute narrow streets. Parking is a bit of a challenge but reduced traffic in the old town provides better vacation experience.
The first evening we attended Tartini Festival 🎻
The Tartini Festival is an international summer chamber music festival dedicated to Piran-born composer Giuseppe Tartini. In addition to Tartini's works, the festival also presents works by other worldwide and Slovenian composers and works by contemporary artists inspired by Tartini's art.
I did not take any photos during the concert of Europeo Barocco as I preferred to listen uninterrupted. Their performance was just amazing.
Next evening we took a long walk along the coast and enjoyed the cool summer breeze.
The wind gets stronger on one side of the peninsula so long sleeves are recommended.
