Fort Rodman/ Fort Taber
I have shared posts and photos of walks around Fort Taber and mentioned Fort Rodman, well this post will focus on Fort Rodman.
I most often visit this area in the early morning when not many people are around and if there is a nice sunrise one can get a shot like this
update
I have bene told by someone local on Farcebook that this is actually Fort Taber in Fort Rodman,

The fort which was also known as the old Stone Fort, and the Fort at Clarks Point until 1898, construction of the Fort started in 1857.
As built is had 72 cannons in three tiers, they had originally planned a fourth tier, but that was dropped to speed up the completion time for the fort

As I understand it the fort at different times had 12 Guns from 3 inch up to 8 inch that were active from around 1899 up to 1946
As you can see the park is well maintained and you can walk all along the shoreline around the fort.

The first guns were all scrapped by 1948, and the fort grounds became a Military reserve center, in the 1970's the reserve center closed and now the area is a public park
This next shot was taken well before sunrise while it was still dark and I used an LED light to paint the building with light

And this last shot is not the fort as such but related to it, I believe these are part of what were called the Endicott batteries, which in some parts are overgrown by vegetation, this is another shot while it was dark and using a light to paint some light on the building
