I have a Gymnocalycium cactus, there are many different ones, but new ones are never superfluous.
So this time, I see it and I want it again. I like them for their beautiful and long flowering and for their unpretentious care.
These are my purchased Gymnocalycium friedrichii and the bonus is: Thrips!
Unfortunately, this is not uncommon in Cyprus nurseries. And not only Thrips, but also scale insects :-(
Do you have a choice? No choice! It is a great success and a great rarity to buy a healthy plant! Why doesn't the state check plant nurseries?
But this is a useless question!

And now about my Gymnocalycium friedrichii: I sprayed them with a spray from cockroaches and ants, Thrips die immediately and the cactus does not die and even continues to make buds and bloom.
As you can see, Thrips are no longer in the newly opened buds :-)
Later, I transplant the cactus into a new soil.
