Hello everyone!
FROM THE PRAYER MEETING, I LEARNT THAT:
We should always guard our faith and conscience to avoid offending God and our fellow men.
Romans 2:15
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another
We can only have the commandments of God in our hearts if we have good conscience.
If you conscience is corrupt, we'll be prone to doing evil. We should avoid eating foods offered to idols to avoid corrupting our conscience.
1 Corinthians 8:7
Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
We should be wise and vigilant.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Also, we should be wise enough to be able to identify the antics of the devil.
Matthew 6:23
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
We should always welcome the help of the holy spirit.
John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
