WHERE DO WE START DOING GOOD?
Hebrews 10:24 says: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
Our doing good should start by considering one another as christains.
We should observe one another because some people do not care about their neighbors.
In the true church of God,we have an obligation, and that is to care for one another.
The reason it was commanded by God for us to gather together is for bretherns to see and exhort one another, although, some religion gather because of tithes and offerings of their members which is not suppose to be so.
The main reason of coming together of brethren is to observe and know when our brethren are in need and we will be provoke to do good because there are really brethren who are poor and have nothing to eat.
As christains, we have to be concern about the well-being of our brethren.
Matthew 26:41 says: Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing,but the flesh is weak.
Watch here means to observe,to know when evil is coming so that we can avoid it, and for us to be able to show our concern as christains.
Our maintenance as christains is exhorting one another, that is where our love for our brethren will continue.
James 2: 2 says: For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring,in goodly apparel and there come also a poor man in vile raiment;
When we gather as brethren, the same way we treat the rich should be the same way we treat the poor. There should not be partiality in treating each other.
We are commanded to gather together even the poor so that we can help them.
There is perfect joy that is felt each time we gather together.
2 John 1:12 says: Having many things to write unto you,I would not write with paper and ink:but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
The early christains always gather together.
One of the most important part of our is when we are studying the word of God.
There is a program in gathering.
Acts 20:7 says: And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
8 says: And there were many lights in the upper chamber,where they were gather together.
There should be singing when we gather together because singing is the most joyful thing in life.
We sing vertually for everything,so why can't we sing for.
When God was creating the planet Earth, the morning stars sang together even the 24 elders and the four living creatures all worshipped God.
Revelation 7:11 says: And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worship God.
12 says: Saying,Amen: Blessing, and glory, and power, and might,be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
Singing is an important part of our gathering.
One of the doctrine we should observe as christains when we gather is singing.
TO WHOM DO WE SING?
We should sing to God, singing with grace in our hearts.
We should sing to God and not to any other person.
We should glorify God with singing.
Psalms 32:7 says:Thou art my hiding place;thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.
There is deliverance that God perform when we sing unto him.
Singing is enough for God to drive away evil spirit.
With singing alone, the power of God is being manifested.
Singing comes from God.
Singing started even before the earth was created.
We should praise God through songs.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says:If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will hear their land.
This is the promise of God for us,there is benefit of gathering together because gathering of believers is one of the most important doctrine of God.
