Philippians 2:15 says: That ye may be blamless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke,in the midst of crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
As christains,it is our obligation to do good to people even to our enemies.
Our doing good should be like a light shining in the midst unbelievers,our way of life should be like a mirror to people outside the household of God.
Our manner of life should speak godly things about us.
Our life styles should be worthy of emulation to people outside the church so that they can draw closer to God.
The love, mercy, kindness faith hope and joy of the Lord is reflected in us when we do good works.
16 says: Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
We should try as much as possible to finish the good works the Lord has ordained for us so that our labour will not be in vain.
When we finish the work prepared for us by God,God will be happy with us and he will reward us greatly.
Matthew 5:14 says:Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
15 says: Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel,but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 says: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.
As believers in Christ, our lives should be an example to others.
Our lives should be that when the unbelievers sees us,they will be hungry to join the congregation of God's people.
We should not be among those that blasphemy the name of God for God will not spear us.
Romans 2:23 says:Thou that makes thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God.
We should not join the church that is doing and covering evil.
1 Corinthians 5:11 says: But now I have written unto you not to keep company,if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator,or covetous,or an idolater,or a railer,or a drunkard,or an extortioner, with such an one no not to eat.
12 says: For what have I to judge them also that are without?do not ye judge them that are within?
13 says:But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
The church of God should not allow all these people in the congregation of God so that the good ones will not be corrupt.
If someone in the church do evil and do not want to be corrected after cautioning him for first and second time should be expel for that is the commandment of God.
The church of God should not tolorate any one who is doing evil.
Even our leaders in church which is not doing good,we should pray to God to take us away from them.
If we are righteous,we should be able to win souls for Christ,for God is delighted over one soul that repent,there is joy in heaven.
There are churches that multiple through the work of men.
Some churches promise none members of their church jobs, preferential treatment for them to come and join their church but the true church of God multiply through the good works of the members.
The salvation of God in the last day will start from the East.
For us to an instrument of God,we should do good works.
