1 Corinthians 4:16 says: For which cause we faint not;but though our outward man perish,yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
According to the doctrine of God,man has two being.
The outward being which is our flesh can be afflicted and perish, but inner mind feels the same,it is renewed day by day.
The outward mind is flesh, while the inward mind is spiritual.
Outwardly,there are men Who are men outwardly but inwardly their mind are beastly,they are wolves, and they hate the law and doctrines of Christ,they are beastly to their family,they beat and treat their wives anyhow.
Romans 7:22 says: For I delighted in the law of God after the inward man:
But the inward mind is delighted in the law because they are created in the image God,a creature that is not evil.
As christains, we should always examine our inner mind to be sure that we are still on the right track with God, because no one can tell us about ourselves apart from God and ourselves.
Jeremiah 6:16 says:Thus saith the Lord,stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said,we will not walk therein.
There are people who prefer evil rather than good.
These are those whose inward mind are beastly.
WHAT SHOULD WE ADORN WITH OUR INWARD AND OUTWARD MIND.
1 Peter 3:3 says:Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair,and wearing of gold,or of putting on of apparel.
There are men who look good outside,they adorn themselves with different kinds of jewelries, they put on different colors of hair.
A Christian should adorn the hidden part of the mind, the adorning of hair nowadays with chemicals causes cancer,we should avoid chemicals on the body and on the hair.
People apply so many things,they use colours, chemicals.
These chemicals are absorbed into the body and can cause damage to the body.
Adorning of the hair and body is prohibited by God.
We should be careful on the things we apply on our skin.
For us to be able to serve God, our health should be taken care of.
The spiritual result of woman adorning herself.
Hosea 2:13 says: And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim,wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forget me,saith the LORD.
One of the consequences of adorning oneself with jeweries is forgetting God.
Many people sometimes adorn themselves to boast,there is no humility in them.
We should be contented with our natural beauty.
The will of God for us is to respect why he created us.
We should adorn the hidden mind of the heart,we should adorn our inner mind with the word of God.
Too much decorations on our body beings evil,it is better to be simple.
We should be modest in our appearance.
We have peace of mind when we dress in modest way.
