Admittedly when I got to the slot canyon I used my DSLR most of the time and this series of posts during my 1 week whirlwind trip is meant to be all Cell Phone shots.

This slot canyon is known for its lined zebra like formations but there is other stuff as well earlier in the canyon.

But I do have a decent amount of images that I feel do a good job of sharing the experience for others who may be interested in this hike.

I have done the nearby spooky and peekaboo slot canyons but I think I like this one more and the hike to and from is better as well.

the road in

Hole in the rock road is one of the more interesting roads in Utah with several interesting hikes and offroad side routes ... however it is long and often can get to have some serious washboard action that will shake most cars up something terrible.

I'm using Gaia maps to tag every interesting spot on a hike or drive and track the distance and timing.

This was just the time for one direction and we did stop plenty so on the way back it took less time even though it was slightly uphill. (Almost un-noticeably uphill)
