How to eat freshly picked Jackfruit. (My way )

Hello,

This is me again. I hope everyone is doing well. Today is a blessed day we got a piece of fresh jackfruit right from the tree.

As I'm having my breakfast I suddenly heard a sound like a falling object so I call papa to check it out maybe it's a falling coconut from the tree and directed him where I heard it exactly and he heads there right away and found a rotten jackfruit since he's already there he decided to check on the packed jackfruits (usually we stuff the fruits inside a sack to prevent it from any insect that made it rotten)

for a brief definition,

JACKFRUIT is an edible fast-growing tropical Asian tree related to breadfruits .

for its benefits from its nutrient contents. it can lower the risk of,

constipation (because of its fibre content)
Ulcer
Diabetes
High blood pressure

Here's how I prepare my jackfruit fruit for eating

The first step, is to cut the centre into halves.

second, slice them into desire sized but how it slices doesn't matter since we have pulled the pulp from the unwanted ones.

I can see my little guy smiling at me and excited to eat 😍.

the third is to remove the white part that divides the fruit.

We take all the good pulps

*Lastly, I separate the flesh from the seeds ( we also save the seeds for our future snacks all we have to do is boil with salt and water to cook ) after we just need to enjoy eating without interruption because most likely some are eating it while picking the pulp one at a time.

  • Did you know that when we're kids after having jackfruits we are not advised to drink water right away because for reason that we might have a stomach ache but as I grow older I realised that it's just all old beliefs then 😂

This is the advantage of living in rural areas even it's far from better opportunities but still when you have the hard work and patients you cant be starved. 🥂
