What Is The Meaning, Of True Community?

I think we can all agree, that community is important and that it means different things to us all. This was really reflected in the responses that were given for this latest question. Indeed there are different levels of community and most of us, have in experience in at least one of them.

With so many of us, connected through Hive, this was a wonderful opportunity, to learn about what community means to each individual and especially how they choose to interpretate What True Community, means to them. Quite a few people, identified Hive as being a True Community, to them.

We have so much to learn from one another. So it is important to provide opportunities, in which we can share our experiences and create better understanding as we move forward. This question provided just that.

We had over 15 responses in total and I choose to highlight those who followed the guidelines set out. The word count has been increased, so as to encourage you all to really dig deep and reflect. Community to an average man means people living around with all ecosystem components available to give comfortability.
Since he was taught in college that it is the coming together of people living in a vicinity with a common idea, goal or aim.
They always pull strength, resources and ideas together to bring life to the fullest without any form of regrets.
The bi-weekly question says what does a TRUE community means to you?
The word true gives a kind of great quality to the community we are talking about, if there is something like a TRUE community then there should also be something like a FALSE community.

As human beings we all come with different personalities and character, but when we come into one community, what matters most is the one common goal of the community. There is no Right or Wrong it is just the difference of opinion and as a community the understanding has to be there that it is just about the situation and that what serves best in that moment, action needs to be taken appropriately. Hence every member setting a wider perspective and looking at the common goal will help in making the community successful.

A little child growing up is as good as his or her community. This is one hundred percent true because the community has a big impact in shaping who we are, it plays a vital role in what we become, the community contributes to the upbringing of an individual either positively or negatively a crucial reason why we need to be of good community.
community is important because here we get to have informal learning, learning that can shape us or break us.
This brings me to share my thoughts on this week tribe's bi-weekly question

We spend a lot of time talking about communities on the hive blockchain. For many, it is just a word that has been flung around without much weight. Some will argue that it represents the interest of just a few people.
I strongly believe in the building of strong communities that are centred around like-minded people. It is the bedrock of development and an avenue for growth.

Whats the meaning of community? It cAn be defined as a group of people in a particular place at a particular period of time. "ABUNDANCE TRIBE", apparently abundance tribe is one of the best community because it performs it role as a good community and its also true because it performs it role as a true community and take responsibilities that are needed from them.
How do we know a true community?
when the community is real and not fake
when it members benefits from the community
when everyone are treated equally without bias
when all members of the community are eligble to their freedom of speech
when all members of the community are entitled to his or her own opinions
when all members are always welcome.

Mr. Aloysius is a well known businessman in Ladipo Markets in Lagos, Nigeria. He is into autospare parts: Engines and gearboxes for brands like Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, etc. He's doing exceedingly well and controls about three shops in the market. Not only does he have enough, Mr. Aloysius doesn't delay in helping and uplifting others. He's a man loved and respected by many, not only because of his wealth but his personality. However, the whole story changed on one faithful Sunday, when he got a call at the early hours of the day from the security guards of Ladipo, saying that two of his main shops were gutted by fire.

So, first a community is a group of individuals working together or defending the same principles. They could have differences, but that doesn't stop them from being a community. Sometimes those people may even don't know each other, but they are considered a part of the community anyway. For example when we talk about crypto community, we mean all people who ever interact or interacted with crypto. The same about hive. Everyone creates content here and sharing his/her ideas is a part of the community.

We tend to believe, that community is about the relationships we have with other people. Whether they are intentionally created or because of geographical reasons. The idea, that wherever we live, we are connected with the people that live around us. That they form our community.
Intentional communities, are where people choose to live together, because they share a common vision about how they wish to live, which can be influenced by their religion or beliefs.
But I believe that community, begins with ourselves, because if we first cannot communicate honestly and openly with ourselves, then how can we commune with other beings. It begins with the connection we make with our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self.

There can't be a true community if the people who make up that community are self centered, unconnected and wicked. And there can't be a true community of the leader of any community is a dictator, bad and partial. A community having such individuals with such leaders can be called a false community if I may use that to describe them.
We may know a community to be a group of individuals having common understanding, speak same language, follow same laws and tradition with same manners but there's more to what a community really is and that brings about what we would call A True Community.
