Abundance.Tribe BiWeekly Question Tie Up Post!

Are You Living Consciously? What Does Living Consciously Mean To You?

It was very interesting reading/watching everyone's response to this question. Some people took it very literally, whilst others delved a lot deeper. Everyone did agree that it really stems from awareness, being aware of how you live and the choices that you make.

Awareness is so important, as too is being informed and connected. As always these questions are here, to promote awareness and also understanding. We are all at different stages of our lives, we come from different parts of the world and all of our experiences are as valid as anyone else's. It is so important to allow people to share their stories, as we have so much to learn from one another.

We had 25 answers in total, I choose to only show a few of those today. In the spirit of Abundance one of those writers who followed the guidelines, will receive 20% of the payout of this post. This week it goes to @care1869.

A squirrel is suddenly statue still, poised half way up an apple tree’s trunk, its cheeks packed with goodies to store, a breeze stirring its fur, sun glinting off a nearby drop of dew, a waft of acorn in the air, and a mockingbird calling in the squirrel’s own voice.
The parents of a fledgling bluebird hover nearby—darting, calling out, protecting—as the fledgling remembers how to fly.
A pig, searching for truffles at the base of the apple tree, unerringly follows its instructions.
A human need only be conscious of all this.

Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question - What does Living Consciously mean to me?

image.png

@nainaztengra

Our Life becomes what we shape it to. Even if we are not on the right track it is never too late to get on to the right track of life. But the whole point is to come to that level of realization and raising consciousness to understand and differentiate between the right and the not right choices of life. We all create our own realities with our own understanding of life and our thoughts. So what may mean whole to me may not be of much relevance to another person.

Many times we spend our lives living just because we breathe, but we are not really aware of anything. Being aware of life is realizing everything that surrounds us, colors, shapes, smells, textures, sounds and what we taste as flavor. Yes, the 5 senses and beyond.
Many times we listen, but we do not hear, so we hear many people say that only when they visited a remote site could they hear the birds sing. Or say that they could smell the pure air, which is different from the city.

For me, living consciously entails being present. By present, I mean living in the moment and not somewhere in the past or future but now. This might sound like an easy task but I know a lot of people (including myself) live in between the past and future.
I have a friend who is always fussing about the future or the mistakes he has made in the past. It is almost impossible to enjoy his company and I often find myself playing the role of his therapist.

My personal approach to live consciously. - "Abundance. Tribe's Biweekly question" -

@re-cognition

... In the following I want to numerate my personal "New ideas" and going a little bit more into detail, how they are related to me and my attempt to live consciously in general. Without further ado let's get right into it!
I am convinced that the most fears and worries we experience in our lives are just assumptions of what COULD happen, but there is no proof whatsoever that it's going to happen 100%. I think there is a huge difference, between the fear that is actually present, for instance when you are facing an aggressive bear in wilderness (I want to give a primal example here), compared to maybe losing your wealth, social status or someone you love due to an external force that is out of your reach.

I find this question very thought provoking and personal, a question one has to answer from self examination and I couldn't help but take up this question and also give my answer to it as it would help me evaluate more about myself. Being conscious is being aware of things happening around oneself. Living consciously is rather a bigger aspect of consciousness that requires more than being aware... Living your life and being conscious of how you live.

Living, a nice word that implies many things, both good and bad, this depends on the reality of each human being, because one thing is to live and another to survive, but whether it is one or the other, it must be done consciously, but what is it to live consciously? many times we avoid asking ourselves this kind of questions, the reasons can be several, the main denial; this is the topic that the community @abundancetribe (@hive-181465) invites us to face the way, ask ourselves deep questions that make us look inside ourselves and if we want to grow in a wonderful way, in a personal way.

Living Consciously - Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question Of The Week

@trucklife-family

I’m sure, that we all have our own ideas about what living consciously actually means. To me, it’s all about being fully aware of the choices that we make in life and how those choices effect the earth and all beings that live upon her. Once we are aware, we then make conscious decisions. choosing how we live on this planet and taking full responsibility for our actions and our well being.
Which means being aware of our connection to the earth and understanding that we are a part of nature, that it is not something we are separate from. We understand, that what we do to the earth, we also do onto ourselves.

Conscious Living... What does it mean, and am I practicing it? [Abundance.Tribe Bi-Weekly Question]

image.png

@kennyskitchen

This is certainly a topic that I've explored many times over the years that I've been putting out my blog/vlog... but I figured I would take a direct approach to the question today.
Well, as direct as my standing-there-talking-to-my-camera ramblings can get :-)
Hope you enjoy, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts - either in the comments here, or in your own response to the question.

Abundancetribe's Bi-Weekly Question: Living Life Consciously

image.png

@stortebeker

We were born into this world with a number of senses, active and ready to perceive whatever our surrounding offers us. Whether any of these senses may be particularly heightened, or in any way compromised, ultimately it doesn't matter, because the remaining ones will certainly compensate. What's important in the end, is that this world impacts us and we let it do so by perceiving it. Such a beautiful setup on the surface, but once we go a bit deeper, it gives way to endless magic and wonder.

@care1869

For me, to live consciously is to live in the here and now; to enjoy life to the fullest. Every minute, every second counts. It is to feel in the skin and in the soul every situation. To assume challenges and their consequences. To assume attitudes in the face of adversity without collapsing, to make assertive decisions and to look at everything from the point of view of love, joy and peace. To live each day as if it were the last.
