[ESP/ENGL] Cinco sabios refranes venezolanos (Décima Séptima Parte) // Five wise Venezuelan sayings (Seventeenth part)

As is customary, I present five sayings with their respective analyzes, the latter entirely my own. 1) “Like a donkey in a dance. "

This saying is used a lot in my family, and it applies to a person who is or says things out of place, that are inconsistent or very reckless. Imagine a donkey inside a party or dance! It would be something unusual and would generate a great disaster, that is why it is applied to the type of people who do not have sufficient criteria to behave according to the circumstances.

2) “A tit is not a cow. "

This saying is used especially in the livestock areas of the country, to indicate an approximation, that something is close or similar, but it is never what it is compared to. If we take it to the Hive realm, it would read like this: "A dolphin is not a whale."

3) “Fox that falls asleep does not hunt."
This saying is used to indicate that a person who is lazy or negligent will never get what he wants, since he does not make an effort to achieve it and the circumstances will cover him. It is similar to saying: "Squid that falls asleep, it is carried away by the current."

4) " Fox that falls asleep does not hunt. "
This saying is used to indicate that a person who is lazy or negligent will never get what he wants, since he does not make an effort to achieve it and the circumstances will cover him. It is similar to saying: "Squid that falls asleep, it is carried away by the current."
