La lectura nos transporta a un mundo increíble, que se revela en cada libro, capítulo y página. Es uno de los mejores hábitos que he podido mantener por años. La lectura no sólo alimenta la mente, sino que nos permite adquirir nuevos conocimientos. Hoy quiero compartir algunos hábitos de lectura, gracias a la iniciativa de la amiga @cami.rojas.
Reading transports us to an incredible world, which is revealed in every book, chapter and page. It is one of the best habits I have been able to maintain for years. Reading not only feeds the mind, but also allows us to acquire new knowledge. Today I want to share some reading habits, thanks to the initiative of friend @cami.rojas.
Un lugar específico para leer || A specific place to read
Suelo leer en cualquier lugar, sea en un parque, cuando viajo, en un consultorio. Pero mis momentos favoritos es en mi cuarto, acostada en la cama y así nadie me molestará, ni ningún ruido interrumpirá mi inspiración cuando estoy leyendo.
I usually read anywhere, be it in a park, when I travel, in a doctor's office. But my favorite time is in my room, lying in bed, so no one will disturb me, no noise will interrupt my inspiration when I'm reading.
Subrayar las frases que me gustan || Underline the phrases I like
Subrayo las cosas importante para no olvidarlas, eso me quedó desde que estudiaba secundaria, además porque cada vez que leo frases que me han impactado, me generan algún efecto positivo y siento que conservo una gran parte de la historia.
I underline the important things so I don't forget them, that has stayed with me since I was in high school, and also because every time I read phrases that have impacted me, they generate a positive effect and I feel that I keep a big part of the story.
Leer antes de dormir || Reading before going to sleep
Acostumbro, leer durante una hora para dormir bien, para mí es un clásico, porque estoy desocupada y tranquila, y si una historia despierta mi interés, corro el riesgo, de pasar la noche leyendo, y si tengo que madrugar al día siguiente, acabo perdiendo lo que tenía que hacer porque me quedo dormida.
I usually read for an hour to get a good night's sleep, it's a classic for me, because I'm unoccupied and calm, and if a story awakens my interest, I run the risk of spending the night reading, and if I have to get up early the next day, I end up missing what I had to do because I fall asleep.
Pensar siempre como terminará la historia || Always think about how the story will end
Cuando estoy leyendo un libro siempre me ha gustado es pensar como terminará la historia, y siempre me gusta creer que terminará con un buen final. Cuando voy por la mitad siempre me da curiosidad de buscar el final y me controlo mucho para no leerlo.
When I'm reading a book I always like to think about how the story will end, and I always like to believe that it will end with a good ending. When I'm in the middle I'm always curious to find the ending and I control myself not to read it.
No parar de leer cuando me gusta un libro || I don't stop reading when I like a book
Cuando leo un libro no puedo parar, me encanta leer desde que aprendí a hacerlo, y mi pasión por la lectura me transporta a mundos desconocidos que me conectan con sentimientos muy profundos. así que intento hacerlo cuando tengo mucho tiempo libre, como ahora en esta cuarentena, que paso mucho tiempo en mi casa, porque soy de esas personas que hasta que no lo termino no paro.
When I read a book I can't stop, I love reading since I learned to do it, and my passion for reading transports me to unknown worlds that connect me with very deep feelings. So I try to do it when I have a lot of free time, like now in my forties, when I spend a lot of time at home, because I am one of those people that until I finish it I don't stop.
Considero que las iniciativas son una manera muy divertida que nos conozcamos un poquito mas. En mi vida, me he encontrado con varias historias en cada página de un libro, y cada una me enseñó una lección especial. Espero que les hayan gustado.
I think the initiatives are a fun way for us to get to know each other a little better. In my life, I have come across several stories on each page of a book, and each one taught me a special lesson. I hope you liked them.
