La literatura es un mundo hermoso y único, la belleza de leer, y el arte escribir es algo que debemos valorar con fuerza. Hoy día es bastante demandante la lectura digital, además de que el costo de los libros llega a ser desorbitante. Sin embargo, las distintas plataformas tienen años abriendo puertas y ofreciendo oportunidades tanto a escritores como a lectores, una de las más valiosas y conocidas es wattpad.
Literature is a beautiful and unique world, the beauty of reading, and the art of writing is something we should value strongly. Nowadays, digital reading is quite demanding, and the cost of books can be exorbitant. However, the different platforms have years opening doors and offering opportunities to both writers and readers, one of the most valuable and well known is wattpad.
Wattpad es una plataforma online de lectura y escritura. En ella los creadores pueden publicar novelas, relatos, artículos, poemas, blogs, fanfics, y muchos otros géneros literarios que los usuarios pueden leer de forma gratuita. Desde hace un año y medio wattpad ha creado un sistema de pago, no en todas sus historias, que le permite a los creadores de contenido obtener ganancias con sus novelas, lo cual es maravilloso. En lo personal soy parte de ese lugar desde el 2015, aunque he tenido temporadas en donde no la he utilizado, me he mantenido fiel a ella.
Wattpad is an online reading and writing platform. On it creators can publish novels, stories, articles, poems, blogs, fanfics, and many other literary genres that users can read for free. Since a year and a half ago wattpad has created a payment system, not in all of its stories, that allows content creators to make a profit with their novels, which is wonderful. Personally I've been a part of that site since 2015, although I've had seasons where I haven't used it, I've stayed loyal to it.
Actualmente tengo mis propios proyectos de escritura que publico allí, y en los últimos meses los he traído a Hive, pueden encontrar varios de mis escritos en mi perfil. La cuestión acá, es que he tenido la valentía y la dicha de ser parte de una editorial sin fines de lucro en la plataforma, y en Wattpad hay muchas de ellas que existen principalmente para ayudar a escritores en crecimiento para reconocer el esfuerzo de la creatividad y el buen trabajo.
I currently have my own writing projects that I publish there, and in the last few months I've brought them to Hive, you can find several of my writings on my profile. The point here, is that I've had the courage and joy to be part of a non-profit publisher on the platform, and on Wattpad there are many of them that exist mainly to help growing writers to recognize the effort of creativity and good work.
Cada día somos un equipo de trabajo más grande y comprometido, abarcamos distintas áreas de letras y gráficos, ofreciendo nuestros servicios gratuitos desde críticas y reseñas, hasta portadas y booktrailers. Desde hace un mes soy la jefa en la sección de críticas, y cada día vamos mejorando para dar una gestión de calidad en el apartado, pero también soy jefa en la sección de elaboración de eventos y para este mes organicé junto a mi equipo técnico una divertida aventura para halloween.
Every day we are a bigger and more committed team, we cover different areas of letters and graphics, offering our free services from critiques and reviews, to covers and booktrailers. Since a month ago I am the head of the reviews section, and every day we are improving to give a quality management in the section, but I am also head of the events section and for this month I organized with my technical team a fun adventure for Halloween.
Este es uno de los motivos por los que decidí hablar aquí sobre nuestro trabajo, porque sé que hay muchas personas que les gusta leer y/o escribir, y en esta familia tenemos espacio para todos. Esta celebración consta de una búsqueda del tesoro, en donde nuestro equipo presenta diez relatos cortos con tématica en el género de terror que tendrán inmersos un acertijo maldito, un animal misterioso y una frase escalofriante. Por ese motivo estoy aquí invitándolos a participar, ya que tendremos premios para los ganadores, y gratas sorpresas.
This is one of the reasons why I decided to talk here about our work, because I know that there are many people who like to read and/or write, and in this family we have room for everyone. This celebration consists of a treasure hunt, where our team presents ten short stories with thematics in the horror genre that will have immersed a cursed riddle, a mysterious animal and a chilling phrase. For that reason I am here inviting you to participate, since we will have prizes for the winners, and pleasant surprises.
En nombre de la Editorial Historias me alegra compartir con ustedes sobre nuestro pequeño proyecto que crece a pasos gigantes. Un equipo dedicado y comprometido, ahora también al servicio de Hive. No solo ofrecemos servicios, también los integrantes somos escritores novatos que nos apoyamos entre sí, por esa razón este post está en esta comunidad, para aquellos que gusten de leer historias frescas de personas que se están formando para el futuro literario, también quiero hacer aporte en la comunidad de @literatos porque son primicias de la escritura, pero esto apenas es el comienzo, echando el pavimento de nuestro futuro.
