How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?

All of you must be wondering how we picked the authors who get into the highlight. As some of the good curation projects out there, our highlighted authors are also handpicked to ensure that we diversify the content and the recommendations in the highlight. We want this highlight to be a place where people get inspiration, a place to learn something new, and even finding a recommendation.

Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually hand pick the posts. Some factors includes : the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort.

AuthorTitleDescription
@maryed[ESP] [ENG] — Una Trilogía: Saga Millenium / A Trilogy: Millennium Saga."The Millenium Saga is quite well known worldwide and has several interesting film adaptations. This is a pretty hard book to read because it has some pretty unpleasant scenes that make you get angry because of the terrible acts that are committed, but even if it hurts us that's reality and what I liked in a way is that the author did not strive to embellish the words because reality is so: ruthless, hard, cruel."
@morey-lezamaTHE 70 GREATEST CONSPIRACIES OF ALL TIME BY JONATHAN VANKIN AND JOHN WHALEN"This set of theories are neither new nor creations favoring social networks, for long before their existence, a wide range of such theories were already accumulating. In the eleven parts into which the book is divided, they present us with a banquet of the most surprising conspiracy theories in history; some range from the controversial alien autopsy, the death of Vince Foster, Big Brother on the Internet and the dark cult Aum of Japan; without neglecting the assassinations of emblematic figures of the twentieth century such as JFK and Lady Di."
@freidimar18Reading Challenge. Part 2- day 6: A self-help book — 99 way to live without anxiety by Carmen Fernández [ENG-ESP]"Through this book you will be able to visualize different 99 proposals that can give you solutions to your anxiety and at the same time, you will find full freedom, letting go of stress and anxiety. This is an extremely interesting guide because it reflects on each page various tips and care to achieve a serene life."
@marysempaiLOS PROFANADORES DEL AMOR / WHERE LOVE HAS GONE [ESP/ING]"The term "crime of passion" is the key to the whole story, that's how it begins, and that's how it ends. The dark touches where he highlights interesting topics such as social classes, deception, hypocrisy, appearances makes this work a precious jewel to treasure, and not only touches on negative aspects, but the overcoming of difficulties, brotherly love and support are the seed of learning that he leaves in each text."
@slwzlSummary of the book "Lucid Dreams" - a personal view"More than a literary work this book presents itself as a guide to mastering an art, in this case the art of being able to live and harness the journey in dreams. The idea is really interesting, because many times we wake up after a dream and we do not remember what we lived, but it leaves us with a deep intrigue and maybe something like a small memory appears and our memory causes us immense curiosity. Then the possibility of navigating our dreams every night would make the sleeping experience an interesting journey."
